Kei is and always will be best girl. Don't let any idiots tell you otherwise! Her arc is so good I have seen a video breaking down Kiyo's fighting style in this scene and techniques he uses from different martial arts and it's cool as hell. I don't know shit about fighting so I don't really remember any of it though ugh Piano and calligraphy and don't forget tea ceremony! Something that was also incredibly well done is how they depicted Kiyo actually slightly changed his expression and being interested when Ryuuen said that he does not feel fear. You can notice it in his eyes. Not only does that somewhat hit home for Kiyo, but his main personality trait is curiosity. He is always wanting to learn and experience more in the real world because of how his childhood was. So when Ryuuen said this, I think Kiyo wanted to test it! He was intrigued to meet someone like Ryuuen and wanted to experiment! Which is just so cool to do in a fight that your opponent is taking so seriously lol
