I've been working on the fun stuff the last couple weeks with making new armor sets and building a new dungeon. Now it's time for all the technical stuff, the rigging, the file setup and organization in the engine, the stuff that doesn't make for exciting screen caps.
The detail pass on the cave is finished up. I'm working on lighting tweaks, trying out some ambient sounds, and then need to add enemy spawn points. Also need to finish texturing those ropes. There's more I want to add in the future but it's mostly detail and prop work stuff that's time consuming and really just polish.
I've been polishing the imp's animations and I started running into issues with him being too big for the human character's mouth. So I went back and created a dedicated blendshape to control how wide the human mouth can actually get but I forgot to split it into a left and right shape so it could accommodate things more on one side than the other. That's one of the things I'll tackle later today and then I'll need to go back and add that to the animations.
