After being accused of heresy for being the sole witness to the disappearance of Canoness Bugzilla of the Order Sororitas of the Scarlet Shadow, Wendy was stripped of her crimson armor and punished to serve as a Sister Repentia, exposing her body both as a fearsome weapon in battle and as a tool for the pleasure of the Emperor's warriors. She stops at nothing to honor the memory of her Canoness and achieve her redemption.

In the Hive City Icheradon on the planet Oscalear, Wendy is sent to investigate the disappearance of other sisters and members of the Imperial Inquisitorium, only to discover a Genestealer cult growing at the city's entrances preparing the planet for the arrival of the Hive Fleet Succubus.
