Early Access - CakeTools Version 0.9a


This is a beta build of Caketools which will be used to view, modify and swap game files for WWE 2K22. For this inital build you will want to either use an older build of the game or rebuild the Cak 07 file. Currently 2K has an active EXE blocker that limits the amount of CAK files that the game reads. it's not something we can legally provide although a fix is possible. Enjoy sniffing through the files and adding what you can :D

in the tutorial it mentions you have to patch your wwe2k22 exe to accept custom cak files but no tuturial on how to do that ive no clue why something that important dont have a tutorial

Make sure the mods are in the _mods folder, if you have several mods, you will need to make sure to organize them so they get included. Smacktalks server / PWM server can help if you need it.

i baked the file to bakedfile08. but ingame the mods dont appear. What i did wrong? im on game version 1.14 and caketool 0.9a

Download patcher, extract patcher to WWE 2k22 main directory, run patcher, give it a little time, a message should pop up saying the exec has been successfully patched, then delete patcher. That’s it. You only need to run the patcher once.

Amazing work with this, works faultlessly with the exe patched, successfully added Dimma’s menu mod, Brave’s The Rock and Breezus Umaga on 1.14. Well done to all involved!

how do we rebuild cak 7? Is this stopping the mods from working?

Tested on 1.14 and I can open the cak files, will support be made for older versions like 1.08 so mods can be added instead of just replacing? Keep up the great work
