Hello to all our supporters.

One week on from releasing the first update for our fourth visual novel, “Thief of Hearts”, we’ve had a lot of great feedback and responses from you, our supporters.

This is why today we're releasing a small update version that you can download here:

The development of Episode 2 is already underway (we don’t sleep!) and we have no intention of taking anywhere near as long as we did for the first update.

With everything in place with the menus, specific coding and the main introductions of the characters out of the way, it should make the creative process for each release a lot easier for us.

We’ve also been made aware of a lot of problems or issues that may have affected your gameplay.

So we’ve spent some time this week fixing the problems that we have found and also any that you have made us aware of.

Below is a list of all the edits/fixes/changes we’ve made that will hopefully make your play through more fluid and with fewer complications.

Changelog:

01. Shortened the duration of the Secret Scenes icon so it is more visible, and to make it easier to narrow down the secret's location.

02. Increased the Secret Scenes icon size, as well as changed the glow color to be more noticeable when the mouse hovers over the secret location.

03. Fixed an issue with the Secret Scenes toggles. It wasn’t resetting correctly when the previous toggles were turned off.

04. Fixed a bug where the Achievements tab for Megan was not unlocking properly.

It wasn’t allowing you to view it outside of a player's game.

In order to view her achievements now, you will be required to play through the Day 2 scene again when the MC first encounters Megan at the clothing store. After that, the tab should be visible outside of a player's game.

05. Fixed various issues where Victor's name and relationship were hard-coded towards the end of the update.

06. Fixed a bug where if the player never unlocks the in-game walkthrough, it would cause two of the choice menus during the game to bring up an error.

07. Fixed the vault code text so it's aligned correctly when entering codes.

08. Fixed the name and dialogue text from sometimes being outside the dialogue box.

09. Many renders from different scenes had visual bugs that have been corrected.

10. Various fixes were made to the script where dialogue was inconsistent between events, the incorrect words were used, lines were duplicated, spelt incorrectly, or had bad formatting.

11. Fixed the alignment issue for Android users

If you happen to find any other issues or errors, please let us know and we’ll fix them ASAP. Unless it’s a major bug, you probably won’t see any new fixes applied until the next game update.

Scenes Fix (Coming Soon in a new update!)

We’re making a couple of other changes to Episode 1.

One of them includes a change to one of the Bonus Secret Scenes and the other is a slight change to the ending of the update, but they aren’t included in today’s fix.

We’ll upload a small update for this at some point in the next few weeks.
