Melody v0.0.1

Hi guys!

Good morning/evening again my loyal supporters, to wherever you are in the world!

MY NEW GAME “MELODY” IS READY FOR YOU TO PLAY! 

So as mentioned in today’s earlier post, I’ll start off by giving you some details about the game before you begin playing it. 

The beginning of this new visual novel will have quite a lot of backstories and plenty of details for each of the characters involved, through conversations that they have with you, the main character.

We’ve done this is so you’ll get (almost) all the information you’ll need to know about them straight away.

It’s also because for future episodes, we can then focus more on the MC’s dates with the multiple female options in the game, but also mainly the female lead Melody. 

Just like when v0.0.1 of my previous game was released, we'll be reading your feedback after you’ve played the game, and we will fix or change things to make it a better game and include them with our release of v0.02. 

One of the best things about the first game we felt were the ideas and suggestions for scenes, mini-games and locations, that fans put to us here in the comments section or on the Community board. 

So please, we are welcome to your ideas, as we want this game to be to your own tastes and desires as much it will be for ours. As always, if you find any errors or bugs in the game, please PM them to me and I’ll have them fixed by the next update. 

Melody primarily focuses on the music theme and your lessons with her to begin with, but that will change later in the game when you start properly dating her. 

I understand that this game won’t be for everyone, and it won’t have some of the aspects that may have intrigued you enough to play DMD. But it’s a project my team and I have worked really hard on everyday for the past 5-6 weeks, a project that we feel will be worth the time and effort we’ve put in, and we sincerely hope it will be to your liking. 

One thing we strive to achieve is to continually deliver you a good storyline, and to evolve with our animations, scene ideas, and the renders that many fans have given me wonderful compliments for, during the production of my previous game. 

Features in the Menu Section (the top right corner of the page, where Melody’s face is).

Relationship Level: There are seven levels (or “Keys”) in the game, and if you gain enough “Melody” points during each level, your relationship with her will progress. 

Since you are a stranger to Melody in the beginning, you will first have to gain her TRUST (key).

Once you have achieved that, the new goal will appear in this section. 

Some of these keys may take two or three episodes to achieve, and some keys will be harder than others to attain. 

This is where having the walkthrough will be vitally important! 

Check out the “MAIN GOAL” to find out how many points you’ll require to unlock each level. 

Basic Info: This section has some of Melody’s personal details, such as her Age, Height, Relationship Status etc

Sexual Progress: This section show you how your progress is going with Melody.

Other girls: Upon meeting any of the other girls in the game, they will be stored in this section. 

Depending on whether or not you accept or reject them, will depend on if their paths will be “Locked” or “Unlocked”.

You can change this to “Locked” or “Unlocked” at anytime while playing Melody. However, if you wish to remain completely faithful to Melody, or hope to do more activities with her or view extra scenes, then it’s recommended that you keep all the other girl options “Locked” at all times, during the course of the game.

Your info: The name you have chosen to be the main character. You can change this at anytime while the game is in progress. 

The HELP section

All the same features from DMD will be a part of the game, and we have also enabled the option to “Take a Screenshot” (by pressing the letter ’S’) while the game is in progress. 

We know how much some of you love having extra pictures of the game, so we’ve made this really simple for you. ;)

Also, as this is only the start of the game, more girls will be joining the cast in future versions.
