Hey everyone, I hope you've been well! I've been chipping away at the Vera and Draven BJ animation as well as some more game stuff, mainly the terrain that'll form up the battle maps.
For the BJ animation I've made the build up to the climax as well as the very messy climax itself. Things get quicker and more intense before Draven finally pops:
And then we have the messy finish! I had fun tweaking the cum animation/simulation for this one and I'm quite happy with how it turned out. Nice, solid but wild spurts complete with drippy, gooey finishes:
But oh no! It looks like our duo wasn't as silent as they thought π±
Decided to finish this animation on something silly that also pays a little tribute to Metal Gear Solid~
Now, I pretty much just need to add the sound and voice acting now and then maybe a little epilogue animation during the credits. It should be wrapped up fairly soon!
In regard to the game, I've been putting a lot of work into the terrain assets that will make up the battle maps:
Everything fits onto the grid and works with the grid based movement system I have in place. I've also decided to go with an industrial/alpine theme that pays tribute to MGS1 and WinBack! I've always loved the vibe in those games and wanted to roll with something like that for this game and I think it fits pretty well. These assets should serve as a strong foundation for map building for now but I plan to add more as time goes on such as buildings with interiors.
There's also progress being made with the UI and gameplay systems:
The movement and cover system are now pretty much fully implemented and now the shooting system just has to be done. All of Vera's movement animations I showed earlier are also implemented as well and I just need to work on the animations for the other characters. In terms of UI, things are still in the early stages but it's all slowly getting implemented as well and it'll be similar to XCOM with MGS/Winback styling.
I hope to show something more concrete soon with this game but it's slowly coming together so please stay tuned for updates! Thank you so much for your generous support as well. I would not be able to do all of this without you <3
