These dreams plague Despara every night, memories of a time that never existed when she might have been happy. It would have been such a simple life away from her family and obligations. A life with Catra.
Artist note: Just a reminder that Devil I Know is canon divergent after the portal episode. Despara doesn't remember anything about her life prior to the portal (she doesn't remember being Adora), so she is unaware that these dreams are actually memories.
