Adora is very weak to Catra's distress and after years of talking about their feelings Adora knows just how much pain Catra was in when she was on Prime's ship. These clones are just younger lost versions of the woman she loves and she just wants to help them.
Catra is much more suspicious of them because she has been inside Prime's head and knows all the horrible things he has done. She thinks these are just another trick and she doesn't trust them anywhere near Adora.
I updated the designs to the future ones to make it more obvious who the real Catra is.
I bet no one was expecting this to be PG when I called it sleeping arrangements.
