Added 2023-10-31 23:55:28 +0000 UTCAbout to head out for work, but I punched through the collective scene one and wanted to throw it your way with FX! This one has required a lot of small QOL edits - particularly, I've started doing C-flap fading since lighting in this episode is crazy in a really subtle way. I'd never done that before (in effect, isolating the closed-flap face for characters into a starting flap/plate and an end flap/plate and slowly fading between them to emulate the lightning changes in the scene).
More coming soon! All the scenes in this episode are bonkers long and it's a pretty indulgent episode, so there's going to be a LOT to chew on.
On a personal note, doing the gears/ambient effects in UBW is a subtle joy I'm really enjoying.

That gag with the opening is absolutely perfect. If the general public doesn't ever get to see that, I will cry.
