Man, Sein would be loving it here hanging out with Methode. I like that after the proctor said that the Spiegel creates copies of people who enter the dungeon by analysing their memories, you immediately made your own theory that it made copies based on people they have fought, and then worked over to "it's strange that all the opponents it's making copies of are other contestants"

When I have a clear understanding of how stuff works my expectations are set in a certain way, and even when someone breaks what I understand- then I don't have the characters going "whoa! that's crazy!" I just know.. whoa! that's crazy! lmao

Neither has pounced just yet with Land seeming to not wanting Ubel dead but still giving sociopath vibes and Ubel wanting to copy Land's power with her empathy. It feels like a timer is running. I do love a bit of tension.

2024-10-14 00:49:06 +0000 UTCStill think this test is easy? That being said, I do like Edel's explanation of modern magic. Goes along with what Richter was saying in the first exam. How modern magic manipulates physical objects more because it is more mana efficient than creating things from mana. However in dungeons that does not always work well since the material you specialize in might not be around. (Which is part of why Scharf uses flowers since those are relatively easy to conjure and then manipulate how he wants). I agree though that Fern continues to be amazing. First with the jealousy and not liking Methode hugging Frieren, and then the casual, "I think I could kill Frieren."
