The creators have confirmed that only Pearls can be ordered in a way that they literally cannot disobey. Garnet just personally took what Rose said very seriously.

She let herself get poofed so many times during the war to protect Roses real form. You actually see her cover her mouth as early as Season 1. Also, the foreshadowing for the twist goes all the way back to Episode 1.

You visit different locations and explore the areas while running into enemies and finding items and solving puzzles. In the later games characters also have a special ability out of combat that can help find secrets. Your characters will level up and get new abilities and you can upgrade the abilities as well as their weapons. Attack the Light is the first game on mobile phone and you can play as the core 4 Save the Light is the second game. This one is on consoles as well. You can play as the core 4 and Greg, Connie and Peridot as well. You can also do fusions Unleash the Light is the most recent and has all the characters from Save the Light and adds Lapis and Bismuth as well. Less fusions but focuses more on the later series so you shouldn't play until you finish the first series. This one was my favorite.
