I was unhappy with the lettering for the already completed pages of Cavegirl, and I wanted a better lead in to the story. So, after nearly a year of tinkering it is my great pleasure to give you the saga so far of the Cavegirl in this "Director's Cut" form! As well as the four new pages at the beginning I've added a little bit to the TF sequence. I originally wanted to extend it further, but stupidly I didn't save any of the composite TF images that would have allowed me to spread them across a few pages. I was able to add one extra panel to the sequence, however. Here for the first time are the lettered versions of pages 11 and 12, also. Further pages are in the works with pages 13 and 14 inked and ready for colours, and pages 15 and 16 at the pencilling/inking stage. All in all, I hope to have the whole of issue one wrapped up at a traditional comic length of 24 pages. I think it's 24 pages traditionally, right? I could be wrong about that! Anyway, enjoy!

This is a testament to your hard work and evolution as an artist, Manic! I have only one quibble: I disagree with the textual change to the bottom right of Page 9, because I thought the original text was a good example of "Less is more." Regardless, the work you've produced is sterling!

Out of curiosity, since I’m not quite familiar with the process, was the issue with the TF scene that you couldn’t save the in-between shots for transitions? I’m curious to see if there could be an expansion to the scene in the future or if this is it.
