As you may or may not know, we've been having some extreme hot weather here in the UK this week! Things have cooled down significantly now, but working during the hottest part of the day in 35 degree heat was pretty uncomfortable for me! Obviously some of you reside in countries where these temperatures and higher are the norm, but buildings in Britain are not generally designed to mitigate against very hot weather. I'm hoping to get Multiverse of Manicness finished by tomorrow afternoon despite the downturn in productivity this week, however.

I actually bought it! It's a font called 'The Crow'. I've made some small adjustments adding serifs to the underlined portions of the text. The prose is a font called 'Verve' and I believe its a similar font used for the title of the recent Dr Strange movie.

2022-07-21 10:33:02 +0000 UTCAs a lifetime resident of NYC - where heatwaves and awful jungle Augusts are the norm - who permanently moved to London in 2020, I second Manic's statement about the local infrastructure not being prepared for our new normal of scorchers. Riding on a bus was like being in a mobile terrarium - and the top floor was simply uninhabitable. No A/C and few windows that open. I could have used a dip in this pool with the Altawomen for sure!
