Warmup… Fursuit? #388 Rose begins!

Yes, it is time, I have gotten a majority of the equipment in too start this project! Miss Rose is on her way!

To explain some of the process here for anyone whom may be interested. I order the base from Etsy through WMW666costumes. They have a fantastic load out of bases to start off with. I went with the cartoon canine to start her base off with, seeing as I didn’t want a very realistic head for this go!

( I may make my own bases down the line, but that’s up in the air right now, as I want too see how this works out first time. In the future though depending on how this project goes. I may start building premades. )

Currently right now I’m working on the pattern and shape of the head. Making sure that it current fits to my head along, with making it useable for those who wear glasses like myself. When making a symmetrical pattern you really with only ever need to tape one side. REASON WHY: There’s only one reason, because the pattern is symmetrical all you need too do is flip, the pattern to draw out on the other side of the fabric. ( I will show you those steps next post )

Given the next month, I’d like to have a bit more work done out on her, so keep your eyes and ears open for more if interested! Sewing tips, materials, and how to, will all be shown over time.
