“Incident report for Space exploration mission Na24-Ch-26-XXGK34. This report comes from the ship Terrestrial Galaxy 6, which is a two-person ship operated by Captain Nadine, and her technician Christian. An incident report was reported by the captain, beginning video playback to review.”

Nadine and Christian were in deep space on day three hundred and sixty-two of a one-year space mission to explore the galaxy look for new planets to inhabit, and record anything else that may be of interest to the United Galaxy Association.

Three wasn’t a whole lot in the last bit of the region they were exploring so, they were mostly chatting and talking about all the things they’re going to do when they return home. Nadine wanted to get her hair cut since it got so long.

Christian wanted to get into some loose clothing as being in these tight space suits for almost a whole year was driving him nuts. They continued to talk but were suddenly interrupted by flashing red lights and loud alarms.

Christian turned his chair around and got right to work reading the warning while Nadine took to her chair and took the ship out of autopilot. Nadine asked Christian for a report and he turned towards her looking a bit panicked.

He said there was a large wave of cosmic radiation quickly approaching them. Nadine now sharing his worry asked him if the ship could outfly it. Christian nodded saying, it was too large and moving quite quickly.

Nadine then asked him if the shields could withstand the radiation. Christian turned back around and checked his monitor, he did a few quick calculations, then turned back around. He told her he wouldn't be able to stop all of it.

However, if he rerouted all the power and put the ship's shields into overdrive, it should block out ninety-eight percent of the radiation. He said cosmic radiation was only lethal at five percent, so they’d live but there could be some side effects.

Nadine looked at Christian and gave him the go-ahead to do it. Both of them activated their space suits with their emergency oxygen supply and watched as the ship stopped moving, all the lights turned off, and the artificial gravity and ship's oxygen turned off.

Then the ship was hit, and it shocked around and started to flip around in space. It was like being in an earthquake followed by a tornado. Both Nadine and Christian had lost consciousness. An unknown amount of time later the ship rebooted itself.

That caused it to use its thrusters to stop itself from spinning and also allowed the lights, artificial gravity, and oxygen to turn back on. Falling back onto the ground was what woke Nadine up. When she came to she was a bit confused, but as she remembered what happened she jumped up.

She calls out to Christian asking him if he is okay. That’s when someone stands up and starts rubbing her head. Nadine immediately notices that this is obviously not Christian as the person standing in front of her is a woman, and Christian is a man.

Nadine drew her space blaster and pointed it at her and asked who she was, then asked what she did to Christian, and then finally stated she didn’t take kindly to space invaders on her ship. Christian in a panic just raised her hands and begged her not to shoot.

Christian asked her what was wrong with her. She told her that she was Christian and not a space invader. Then asked why she thought that. Nadine laughed and said she knew Christian, and he was a man, and that the person in front of her wasn’t.

Christian confused looked down. When she did, she found that her entire body had been changed likely from the radiation. Instead of being a man, she was in fact a woman now, one with long purple hair, breasts, a curvy body, and a very noticeable change in the lower region.

Christian began to press on different parts of her body in disbelief that she changed while Nadine watched awkwardly. She then had enough and reminded Christian that she was holding a gun and was willing to use it.

Christian now thinking a bit clearly said she wasn't going to shoot her anyway. Nadine laughed and reassured her it wasn’t a bluff. Christian then looked more annoyed at her than suddenly turning into a girl and then stated she’d kill them both.

The gun she was using was a top of the line, B4-Devastator pistol, which had explosive rounds in it, so no matter what she hit the interior of the space shit would blow up, and if somehow they were lucky enough to not breach a whole in the ship, Christian wouldn't be able to fix everything.

Christian then continued to rant about all the potential problems and Nadine then lowered her blaster as she became bored listening to her. Christian then turned around and asked her why she lowered her gun suddenly.

Nadine rubbed the back of her head and said Christian managed to convince her who she was. Christian raised an eyebrow and asked how. Nadine then smiled, saying Christian always bored her like this talking about the ship and always talked like she had any idea what she was talking about.

Christian put on a bit of a pouty face, but then was happy the misunderstanding was cleared up. Nadine then asked what happened. Christian couldn't know for sure, but she suspected the cosmic radiation did this to her.

Nadine said it was a quite serious issue, and decided to call the mission off early. So after Christian checked all the systems to make sure nothing was damaged, Nadine flew them back to the hyperspace ring and attached the ship to it.

They jumped into hyperdrive and began their journey back home, which took about two days of nonstop hyperdrive jumping to return to Earth. Once back on Earth they landed in the spaceport of their agency and were met with the pit crew.

After Christian and Nadine exited the ship they began to do maintenance on it while Christian and Nadine went to report on their mission. When they got to the commander's office, he greeted them, but it wasn’t the way she was expecting.

He greeted Captian Nadine first, then her subordinate, technician Melody. Nadine looked at the commander and asked who Meldoy was. The commander looked concerned and asked if Nadine had hit her head while traveling. Nadine might of, but she was sure she didn't know a Melody.

The commander then pointed to Christian, said that was Melody, and then ordered Nadine to go in for a medical inspection after debriefing, as something was clearly wrong, how could she forget her technician, especially when she was her sister?

Nadine looked very surprised, and Melody was deep in thought thinking about how to explain what was going on. The commander then asked for a full report. Nadine explained everything went well until recently with the cosmic radiation.

The commander thanked them for their report and said he’d look into it, then sent both of them to the medical bay to get checked out. Other than a slight bit of cosmic radiation, both of them were perfectly healthy and good to go.

They were cleared and sent off to relax. Along the way, every one they saw stopped them and told them how amazing they were. It seemed everyone knew who they were, and wanted autographs and to talk to them, some of them even flirted with them, which Melody wasn't used to.

They returned to their quarters and went inside. Melody found her entire room changed, seemingly like it matched her new body. It had dresses lying around among other things. It even had photos of Melody’s current body form throughout her life.

Most of the pictures had Nadine in them, so it seemed they really were sisters now. Melody changed into a button-up shirt with a skirt, since she really didn't have much for any feminine clothes and met Nadine outside.

They went off to have a drink and talk about life, especially now that it’s completely changed. Nadine asked Melody what was going on. Melody said she’s been working on a few theories, originally she thought the radiation changed her DNA, but clearly more than that was going on.

It was clear they were in a new reality. Melody has two theories that could explain it. One was that the cosmic radiation had somehow not only changed Melody’s body but her entire timeline of events, leading them to where they are.

The second one was that either the cosmic radiation pushed them out of their universe and into another, or even perhaps when they were out cold and flying through space they hit some sort of blackhole, and that led them here.

No matter what though, it seemed they were stuck here, and she was stuck as a woman, and as Nadine's younger sister. Nadine wrapped her arms around Melody, saying that wasn't so bad, she always wanted a sister.

She then made jokes about teaching Melody all about being a woman and dressing her up in all kinds of cute things. Melody looked a bit nervous and was secretly hoping they’d get sent back out on another mission.

“End of video playback. The crew finished ninety-nine percent of its voyage when it was suddenly hit by large amounts of cosmic radiation. The crew was offline for several days, but medical scans show no physical or mental damages, and radiation levels are within safe parameters.”

“I did find some inconsistencies within the ship's logs, namely the crew roster. It had previously listed the technician as Christian, but our records indicated the technician was Melody. So I have corrected this. Human review is not deemed necessary, no further action is required.”
