Caught Cheating (4k Watcher special)

It was late on Saturday night, which was game night for a group of guys. Kichiro, Chantz, Eryx, and Saxe sat around a table playing one of the most explosive rounds of Uno they’ve had yet. Things have been crazy and half the players had way too many cards to even have a chance.

Only Saxe and Eryx seemed to have a chance of winning, and each of them had one card left. It was really heating up, but then Kichiro somehow had a plus four, which gave Eryx more cards, and when it came to Saxe’s turn, he didn’t have the right color and drew a bunch of cards.

Kichiro's luck, which seemed to come out of nowhere, continued, and each turn that passed, he lost more and more cards while the others somehow got more and more, and in the end, Kichiro came from behind and won the round.

Kichiro always had this uncanny luck when it came to things, especially when it came to playing games with his friends. The rest of the group thought it was strange at first, but as time went on, they suspected something foul was going on.

They came to the conclusion that Kichiro was cheating, and they were going to prove it. So last week after game night, when they lost every game to Kichiro like usual, they came up with a plan to catch Kichiro if his crazy luck continued, and it was clear he had to be cheating.

They had a very special deck of playing cards. It was special because they took it to a local, friendly witch. They told her about Kichiro and how he always seemed to have good luck, and they wanted to know if that was true or if he was just cheating at everything.

She told him both were possible, but she’d come up with an enchantment for the cards that’ll activate if someone cheats while touching them. She told them that if Kichiro was cheating, they’d know right away, as his body would change a little bit.

The witch then told them that if Kichiro continued to cheat, he’d continue to change and they won’t know it until someone points it out to them, so it’s entirely up to the group how far they want to take exposing their cheating friend, if Kichiro was in fact cheating.

Having Kichiro win Uno out of nowhere was enough to make the group try it out on him. Chatz pulled out the enchanted deck of cards and suggested they play some classic card games, things like power, goldfish, or anything really.

He lied and said it was so they could calm down after how worked up Uno got them, and Kichiro believed it, as they were all super competitive when they played Uno for some reason. Everyone else agreed to do it to keep appearances up.

Chantz then started to deal the cards. They played the first hand and to no one’s surprise, Kichiro won. However, when the group looked at Kichiro, they noticed something was changing about him. His hair was getting longer. 

The next few rounds it continued to get longer, while Kichiro continued to get shorter. The group knew for sure that Kichiro was cheating and somehow being super sneaky about it, as they couldn’t figure out how.

Eryx decided to be nice and give Kichiro a chance to admit it. Eryx did that by saying that Kichiro was so lucky that he had to be cheating; he even assured Kichiro that if he was, it was okay but it would need to stop.

Kichiro smiled and boldly claimed he wasn’t cheating and that he was just super lucky. He then said he’d do his best not to be lucky and try to let them win a bit more so that it’s not super boring for them.

Eryx looked at the others and shrugged. If Kichiro wasn’t going to admit it, they weren’t going to admit to Kichiro that the cards were basically cursed and changing him every time he cheated. The games continued, and every few rounds the group checked and a lot more changed.

Kichiro's hair had fully grown out, and he was a foot shorter than he was before, not to mention Kichiro was starting to grow a more feminine chest, which almost made Saxe blow the whole plan because he was staring.

The group continued to watch Kichiro change bit by bit into an incredibly beautiful woman, and still they had no idea how on earth he was cheating, yet he was changing before their very eyes, which meant he was cheating before their very eyes as well.

A few more rounds later and it was clear Kichiro was as female as she could possibly get, and nothing else seemed to change. The group looked at each other and without saying anything, they knew that every part of Kichiro had to be female, even the ones they couldn't see.

There was no reason to continue this, so the group, with another glance at each other, decided it was time to let their cheating friend know what was happening to her and hopefully find out how Kichiro was cheating so well.

 Chantz gathered the cards up and Eryx and Saxe watched Kichiro. As soon as the last card was in the box, the magic that kept Kichiro from noticing her changes vanished and she noticed right away something was wrong. She looked down to be met with her changes.

She jumped up, freaking out, asking everyone what happened. She looked at the rest of the group and noticed none of them seemed surprised at her sudden change. Kichiro and the rest of them sat silent for a minute before Chantz spoke up. 

He asked her why she cheated so much. Kichiro denied cheating at all, and the group started laughing at her. Chantz tossed the deck of cards at her and told her they had had it enchanted by a witch. 

Kichiro looked at the cards. Chantz continued saying that the cards only affect someone who cheats while using them. Now Kichiro was silently looking at the cards. If what he said was true, she had done this to herself. 

The rest of the group took her silence as confirmation that she knew she was caught, and surprisingly they weren't mad at her; they did kind of get their revenge already. Instead, they were asking her how she managed to cheat so much without them figuring out how. 

Kichiro turned bright red and said it wasn't important; she promised to stop doing it, but that wasn’t good enough for the group.  If Kichiro wanted to continue to join them during game night, she had to come clean right now. 

She sighed and lifted her hands. A pink cloud appeared around her, and when it vanished, Kichiro was now wearing a red and white robe with long fox ears and she had two tails attached to her backside. 

Everyone else was surprised. Eryx asked her what was going on, and Saxe told him it was obvious. Kichiro was a kitsune and they were notoriously known for being tricksters, and Kichiro was likely using her power to cheat at games. 

Kichiro held her head down in shame, telling the group that Saxe was right. She begged them to forgive her and she once again swore she’d never cheat again. The group huddled together and mumbled something before they turned to face Kichiro. 

They agreed to let her stay in the group and continue playing games with them, but they had a few conditions. One, she wasn't to hide her kitsune side, and two, she wasn’t allowed to go to the witch and turn back into a man. 

Of course, she was free to decline that, and they’d go ahead and kick her out of their friend group and tell everyone in town that she’s a bad kitsune who cheats. Kichiro had little choice; it was either to meet their demands or move out of town. It seemed to her that meeting their demands was easier than starting over; she really shouldn’t have cheated so much.
