2024-10-25 02:48:54 +0000 UTComgggg yall finally met the twins !! as everyone else has said, i've been waiting for yall to react to these episodes and was one of the reasons i decided to watch yalls reactions in the first place. someone already mentioned this as well, but the inarazaki team has a prominent accent that's well known in japan called the kansai dialect; they come from the hyogo prefecture, which is in the kansai region. a lot of ppl compare it to the southern accent here in the states. i think many ppl watching for the first time dont notice it as quickly so it'll be interesting to see if you guys can pick up on it

I imagine being twins and playing the same sport on the same team must be a unique experience. I canโt wait to see how much youโll be able to relate to the Miyas! That was actually one of the main reasons I joined Patreon, I just couldnโt wait any longer. XD In my opinion, this match is the best one in the show so far. Personally, I was skeptical about Haikyuu at first because Iโve hated volleyball ever since elementary school. I was terrible at itโcouldnโt get the ball over the net and kept getting hit in the head. It was horrible. But after watching this match, I found myself getting more interested in volleyball, and now Iโm a huge fan. Iโd love to hear what your favorite match is once you catch up. Thanks so much for your reactions, they always brighten my day!

Fun fact, Iโm not sure if I mentioned this already, but Inarizaki all have quite strong accents when they speak. Theyโre from the south of Japan, so you could say itโs like the Japanese equivalent of the Texas dialect or something. I went to university there so itโs kind of a nice feeling hearing it! The subtitles donโt really convey it, but I think it adds to their characterisation
