Into The Game: Princess Peach II

It’s been a crazy week. It all started with me attending a video game convention, something bad happening, and waking up in a real version of the Super Mario World as none other than its prize princess, Princess Peach Toadstool.

I barely had ten minutes to process everything before some toads showed up, dressed me up, and started escorting me around. Then again before I could even adjust to being a woman, wearing dresses and walking in heels, Bowser showed up.

He easily beat the small weak toad knights and grabbed me. I knew Peach would normally call out for hell, but I was a bit freaked out and extremely pissed. So I started to punch Bowser in the face, which didn’t hurt him but surprised him a bit.

He brought me back to his castle and into his throne room. He then chained me up in a cage above his throne like I was some sort of bird. Since everything seemed to be like the Super Mario games, I figured Mario would come to save me, but after a day I was still in the cage.

Once I saw Bowser pulling out a wedding dress I decided I wasn’t going to be a passive prisoner. I spent the next two days annoying the hell out of him and refusing to do anything he requested, including trying out the wedding dress.

He got frustrated at me and had me moved to the main dungeon as some sort of punishment. He then sat on his throne looking a bit confused as I was escorted off by two Koopa Troopas and a Shyguy.

I was chained to a wall and left to sit alone in the dungeon. Now just like Bowser, his minions weren't aware that a new badass Princess Peach was here, and I wasn’t going to sit here and wait for a plumber with a big nose to save me.

So I got to work on escaping. I started by tricking the guard with the key to make my chains a bit looser because they were hurting me. I then punched him in the face causing him to retreat into his shell.

I unlocked my wrist cuffs from the wall, but unfortunately didn’t have the key to the cuffs, but that was okay. I’d have them removed when I got back to the Mushroom… My kingdom. I then picked up the Koopa in his shell and ran into the dungeon hallway.

The hallway had three Goombas, a Paratroopa, two Spiney, and a Drybones. I placed the shell on the ground and kicked it at an angle. The shell then shot across the floor bouncing off the sides of the hallway and wiping out my kidnappers.

I walked up a long spiraling staircase, which was only so long because most of Bowser's minions had tiny legs and needed these super tiny stairs. Once I made it to the top I found myself on top of one of the inner walls within the castle.

I also once again found myself with company. Several Flyguys were flying around, there were five Hammer bros and two Fire bros on the bridge with me, and Lemmy Koopa in an airship ready to fire bullet bills.

I gulped, this suddenly felt really dangerous, and I had no idea if I had multiple lives like Mario does in the games. I was really scared and nearly walked back down into the dungeon to accept being a prisoner.

Then I saw it. Right next to me was a mystery box. I had no way of knowing what was inside, but It was worth seeing. I hit it with my hand and out came a fireflower. I felt a smile form on my face as I grabbed it.

I then ran towards my enemies shooting out as many fireballs as I could. I ducked and dodged any attacks shot at me and I used the castle wall to shield myself from the bullet bills. I managed to clear the enemies on the ground with me and I was about to get to the entrance to the main castle.

That’s when a Bullet Bill hit me. I lost my power up, but I was unharmed otherwise. I snuck around the top floor of the castle until I found yet another set of stairs that went down. I quietly walked down them and waited to see if I could hear anyone coming.

I was pretty lucky there was no one there, but then again Bowsers and his minions are pretty useless and dumb, so perhaps this was how it normally was here. I made my way out to the front gate still undetected.

Just had to figure out how to lower the gate. Strangely though, there were no levers or stairs that led to them. There were a couple of windows on the towers on the sides of the gates. That likely meant only flying minions could open the gate, which was a problem for me.

I looked around and there didn’t seem to be anything I could do. I was frustrated and hit the wall, that’s when I saw a strange distortion in the air above me. I hit the wall again a bit harder and a clear outline of a box appeared.

It was a hidden mystery box. I jumped up and hit it with my hand and out came just what I needed, a mega mushroom. I touched it and I instantly grew a hundred times larger. I was able to see over the once massive gate.

Now I could have done a lot of things. Pushed the gate open, and climbed the wall, but I wanted to leave a message for King Koopa. So I kicked the gate off the chains and smashed several large holes in the wall.

I then grabbed several large chunks of the wall and threw them as hard at the airships as I could. I hit three of them causing them to come crashing down into the castle itself. The King himself finally came running out looking shocked and angry.

He then saw me in my giant form. I smiled at him and gave him a wink as I walked off toward the long bridge that leads to his castle. I was about at the end of the bridge when the mega mushroom wore off, returning me to my normal size.

After that, I just had to make my way back to my castle. Luckily my loyal toads set up huts in all eight words. I went into the first one I found and nearly gave a toad a heart attack when he saw me, mostly because he’d never imagined he’d see me here, and was super excited.

I had him contact the kingdom and get me a way home. It took a couple of hours but a warp was set up or something and I was told I could get in it and go all the way back to world one, where my castle is located.

Once I was back I had a decent meal. I was fed while I was kidnapped, but I swear Bowser and his minions must have licked lava and permanently damaged their taste buds as everything they served tasted like garbage.

Perhaps if I sent them some good-tasting food they’d be less evil. After a good meal, I had some Toads remove the cuffs from my wrists and I went up to take a nice long bath. My hair was a mess, and in the games, you may not sweat when inside a volcano, but in this reality I sure do.

After that I had the toads pick the simplest and most comfortable pajamas for me to wear. Then I went to bed. I was so happy to be lying in a bed, but this bed was still the best bed I’d ever been on, so I slept like I was in a coma.

By that, I mean for about two days. I didn’t even get out on the second day when I woke up. I did all my duties from bed and ate and drank from there as well. The day after that I got up and caught up on my princess duties.

I was in the middle of creating new orders for better defenses and better training for the Toad knights when a familiar man with a brown mustache wearing blue overalls and a big red hat walked in looking a bit embarrassed. Which was good, I had a few words I had to say to him.
