Melody’s New Hobby (TG-Empress)

Melody was shocked when she looked inside her new room, mostly because a quarter of her room was now dedicated to a sewing machine, and around it was a ton of fabric. Around it were several half-finished cosplays, along with a ton of completed ones.

There were a ton of anime girl costumes, like Megumin from KonoSuba, Nezuko Kamado from Demon Slayer, and Rem from Re Zero. There were even a few extremely sexy costumes, which embarrassed Melody just by thinking about herself wearing them.

All of them seemed to be homemade, which meant in this version of reality she made all her own costumes. Melody picks up some of the costumes and starts admiring them, that's when Nadine comes over and stands next to her.

She looks at the costume Melody is holding and says she never expected Melody’s life to be so different, and she definitely didn’t expect Melody to be into sewing and good at it. Melody holds a costume up to herself and faces Nadine while smiling.

She agreed it was kind of crazy. Melody then said she wasn't sure what she was supposed to do, she didn't know how to sew. She then asked if anyone thought her mother would notice if she stopped sewing for a year.

The three of them looked at each other and shrugged. Stefanie then says it’s not really a problem. She would give Melody the knowledge she would have had if she had grown up in this reality. Melody nods saying that would make things easier.

Stefanie says she’ll do it, but only if Melody agrees to make her a special costume sometime after gaining her new skills. Melody smiled and said she’d of course do that. She then hugs Stefanie and thanks her again.

Another spell later and Melody had all the information about her life in this reality, along with many useful skills and information on being a girl, which will make a lot of things much easier, and the best part, she still has all her memories from before the reality changed, just in case she needs it.

After the spell was cast, Melody’s mother called to her from downstairs. She yelled that dinner was ready and that they could come down to eat. Everyone sits down and Zoe, Melody’s mother, serves them all with a nice big plate of spaghetti and meatballs.

They then have a great dinner talking about the trip. Towards the end of dinner, Zoe looks at Nadine and tells her that she had spoken to her parents on the phone not long ago, and they wanted her to spend the night here because they had decided to go away for the weekend.

Nadine was a bit confused but didn’t say why to anyone, instead she chose to be happy about the fact she got to spend the night with her beloved Melody. Once everyone was done eating, Melody put away the leftovers and did the dishes.

After that Melody and Nadine walked Hope and Stefanie outside and said goodbye to them. Hope waves goodbye and runs to the car, while Stefanie tells the two of them not to go crazy. She then winked and ran to the car with Hope.

Melody and Nadine laugh, close the door, and run up to Melody’s bedroom. Once back in her room, Melody goes right over to the sewing machine, as she was sort of fixated on it, and couldn't wait to try it out and make something cool.

She looks at Nadine who is happily watching her and tells her it's so strange, she’d never actually sewn anything before and yet she knows all about it and how to do a great many things. Nadine laughs and says that the power of magic, but then says the strangeness of it all will pass in time.

Nadine then runs her hand over the sewing machine. She says she’s really glad that Melody had a nice hobby, something she was genuinely excited about. She then said she really liked that it was one that ended with her in such cute costumes.

Nadine then grabbed one and said she had to see Melody in it. Melody also really wanted to try it on, so she quickly got undressed and into an Asuka cosplay. It was perfectly sized, but also very tight where it needed to be.

Nadine felt Melody up and said it was really well made, then she grabbed another costume and tossed it at Melody to try on. Nadine made Melody try about three costumes before she threw herself onto Melody.

The two end up naked and together under Melody’s blankets. After a long hot night of lovemaking, the two pass out around three in the morning in each other's arms. Melody was sound asleep until Nadine woke her up with a kiss the next morning.

Melody opens her eyes slowly and when she realizes what's going on she smiles and kisses Nadine back. A long kiss later and their lips part, which is when the both of them say good morning to the other, causing them both to giggle.

Both of them get up and go to the bathroom, wash their faces, brush their teeth, use the bathroom, etc… Then they get dressed and head downstairs for breakfast. Sitting there was Melody’s parents, Zoe and Andre.

Andre tells Melody they’ll have the house to themselves today, as her parents were also going on a trip for the day and wouldn't be back until late that night. They ended up leaving while Nadine and Melody ate breakfast.

Once they were gone and Melody cleaned up from breakfast, the two of them headed back to Melody’s room where she thought they were going to have a bit more fun, but Nadine had something else in mind.

Nadine told Melody that even though she had her knowledge from living in this reality she wasn’t fully using it, as her morning routine still screamed I’m a boy who doesn’t care about her appearance.

Nadine made fists with her hands and placed them on her hips and said she was going to be the hero that helped her, and by that, she was going to teach her a proper morning routine to use from now on.

Nadine takes her to the bathroom and they start going over things she’d be doing in there. As Nadine explained it, memories of doing those things in this world filled Melody’s head. So she actually knew all this stuff, but she just had to remember to actually do it from now on.

By the end of it, Melody thought she had it all, and Nadine was pretty confident in her as well, but she assured Melody she didn’t need to stress it, if her new memories didn’t help her out, then she could text Nadine at any time for help.

Melody smiled and thanked her, then thanked her again by kissing her. Later in the afternoon, it came time for Nadine to head home. She made sure Melody was going to be okay alone several times before she opened the door to leave.

Melody once again kissed her and said it would be fine, it wasn't like they were going to be apart for long, they’d see each other the next day at school. That caused Nadine to smile. Melody was a bit nervous about the smile and asked what it was about.

She stepped out the door and said she’d see her tomorrow, then as she turned around she loudly said she couldn't wait to see Melody in her school uniform. Melody tilted her head. She didn't understand what was so special about that, Nadine had seen her in it a ton of times right?

As Nadine disappears from sight it hits Melody, she no longer wears the male uniform. Starting tomorrow she’d be wearing the female one, which included a short skirt. Melody closed the door and silently cursed the school uniform.

She hadn’t thought about it at all, but it did make sense. She walked up to her room and opened her closet, there inside was her new uniform. She called the uniform stupid and closed her closet, but secretly she was kind of excited to try it on.

She went downstairs and made herself dinner and was in the middle of taking it up to her room when her parents came walking in from their trip. Melody waved at them and said goodnight to them as she headed up the stairs to her room.

Melody eats her dinner, gets changed into her pajamas, and lays on top of her bed. This was the official start of her year as a girl. She had no idea what was in store for it, but she was super eager for what awaited her tomorrow and every day after.
