What do you wish for: LostToResonance

“It seems so unlikely that this ticket is anything except a silly piece of junk mail… but there is no harm in grabbing it with both hands?” LostToResonance says as they hold the ticket tightly. “Maybe magic still existed in the world.”

Then to their shock, a number appeared on the ticket as promised. The number 131 appeared on their ticket, and in the blink of an eye, LostToResonance was standing in front of a busty blonde genie.

And just like that, their turn for a wish had come. “Hello! LostToResonance… I can see how eager you are, so I guess I don’t need to explain to you what this place is, or how it works. So please tell me your wish.”

With that, the genie waits for you to speak your wish. "I wish that when I sleep, I was living the life of a tiefling rogue in her life of adventure and that this life is only her dream." The genie seems surprised.

“That’s quite the unique wish, not in a bad way of course. I find it super interesting, and can’t wait to see it.” The genie then starts running in place, which causes the orbs around them to start to fly around. It took a few minutes but she stopped running and an orb was sitting right in front of her face.

“Here’s the orb that’ll grant that wish.” The genie grabs it, turns towards LostToResonance, and places it on their head. It quickly vanishes. “There you go, now you’re connected to the body of a tiefling rogue in another world.”

The genie then raises her hand. “So when your current body sleeps, you are sent into your new body the tiefling female, then to return to your current self, all you need to do is sleep.” LostToResonance thanked the genie.

“You’re welcome. Have fun!” The genie snapped her fingers and LostToResonance found themself right where they were before holding onto the ticket. Now, it was entirely possible none of that happened, but they wouldn't know until they slept.

So they ran to their bed, hopped in it, and sat there with their eyes closed until they fell asleep, which took a bit of time because of how excited they were. Once they fell asleep, they had a weird dream about flying through a wormhole.

Then Lost sat up quickly and gasped as if she hadn't been breathing. She looked around and she wasn’t in her bedroom anymore. Instead, she was sitting on a bedroll in the ruins of some sort of brick building.

Lost felt a big smile appear on her face. She jumped up and looked down at herself. She was most definitely a woman, which her large breasts made very clear. Her waist was slime and her hips were wider, giving her a perfect hourglass figure.

Her skin was also dark red, her ears were long and pointed and she had two very dark red horns poking out of her hair. She then looked at her clothing. She had a tight red leather bra for a top and a loincloth for pants.

Her knees down she was wearing armored boots, and on her shoulders down to her wrists she had matching armor covering her. It wasn’t a whole lot, but after looking in a bag next to her she found a robe with a hood and a scarf to use around her face.

Lost dropped the bag and picked up a dagger that was on the ground. She swung it around. It was short and light, and the handle fit perfectly in her hand. So she knew it had to be her weapon. Lost took the dagger and its sheath and attached it to the belt that held up her loincloth.

She then draped herself in the cloak and warped her face with the scarf. After that, she rolled up her bed, tied it up and tossed it over her shoulder. She then looked through her bag again. Inside were some gold, food supplies, a map, and finally a book.

Lost took out the book and read it. Luckily it turned out to be a guestbook. So inside on the newest page, she had her quest all written out. She was here to slay some goblins that had been stealing from merchants traveling on the main road nearby.

There were five of them she had to slay, and when she did, she’d get paid with ten gold and a new dagger from the blacksmith in the town that hired her. Lost put the book away and threw the bag over her shoulder. She then crouched down and pulled her dagger out, she then snuck around until she found the first goblin, and using her new skills, she completed the quest with ease.
