I use Clip studio but it's not very different from Sai!
2023-08-30 02:07:44 +0000 UTCYeah! I love painting after cleaning up my sketchwork, I always find myself enjoying a sketchy look than linework sometimes. For me I like to condense all color-rendering layers into one folder so I can always look back. But it can get tedious when they're too many layers. Do you use Paint Tool Sai? That's what I use.

I usually don't do linework after sketch. Shading and highlight process are inconsistent everytime (I'm still learning this step). But I always do edit lines, color, shadow, etc in one layer(or more layers) as very last step. Layer 17~ 27(except 18, 24) correspond to this step. This is important process, because it helps clearing up mistakes and helps a lot in reading the anatomy better (Also this process is very fast and easy).
