Girl no one wants ur bf

Portia def thinks everyone wants her mans. That is not that case BUT I do think she does get her vindication because it def does happen. Edwin becomes more comfortable and outgoing, relaxed, and he’s a p nice funny alt dude musician, he’s def getting flirted with at gigs and he is oblivious, thinks they’re being weird like ‘yeah I just said that.’ or he runs away them when he sees what their game is.

Was actually considering someone happened that lead to their breakup, NO INFEDELITY, but they’re out, Portia has told Edwin numerous times that this one girl clearly likes him, he brushes it off because 1. No one likes him 2. He wants Portia to date him. They’re fwb/psuedo dating, nothing official. Edwin talks to girl who steps it up becayse she’s friendly, he’s completely unaware or maybe catching on, or she’s bold and just goes for it, Portia sees the whole thing and rescues Edwin, before asking to go home. She informs him they should stop seeing each other and Edwin crashes out (understandably) to which Portia reaffirms he didn’t do anything wrong (aside ignore her advice dummy), they aren’t dating and never agreed to be exclusive, and he has only ever been with her so he should explore his interests/the world and see what he actually likes. Obvi he informs her he only likes HER, and wants to be with her, and Portia says it’s over, she said she didn’t date, and she was gonna stand by it. It’s kinda a ‘I’m doing this for u’ but also her being afraid since she worries Edwin will find someone better down the line and she’ll be in the situation her parents are in aka literally horrible divorce that turned her off dating/marriage

Not sure if that’s interesting, it feels a bit too dramatic, but I also think it’d be a reality check/sobering moment for both of them. Idkkk we will see.
