Raff connecting to his great-great grandpa doesn’t go quite as expected. Hehe

I was grappling with a few things, aka for modern au/Raff’s human form, he’s a black man, which was because I had followers helped vote on his human design, plus it was the one I liked best. That being said, I really hate the trope of the one monstrous character = being a poc, super problematic and didn’t want to write it off and not awknowledge that. But I thought of a solution that I think is a bit less handwavey. the heroic figurehead of Raff’s family was actually a human man who was as charming as he was FREAKYYYY. So if he ever is presented/became human in the story, he basically looks like his great-great granddaddy. Plus, there will be other monsterous characters who are coded diversely so it wouldn’t just be Raff as the only one, like kormac I imagine as a geeked up white boy who does parkour. Anyway, not sure if that makes sense but it’s the stuff I think about.
