The village gem

Resident hot girl alert! She’s a gemstone expert + appraiser and every eligible dwarf is rushing to court her since she is not only beautiful, charming, and witty…. Her careful eye makes her a wonderful addition to a family, being able to identify and apraise stones accurately, with some notable luck (or knowledge) on how to find them….

She’s holding out though, because she doesn’t wanna be somebodies safe jewel, only present to help her husbands wealth, she is a business lady! She wants to hold her own, and not just be an asset. She’s hoping a wealthy husband will sweep her off her feet and pamper, celebrate, tend to her. This husband eventually arrives in the form of a wealthy merchant gnome who is immediately SMITTEN, and not only is it a love match, he asks her to be his partner in life and in business, so now she gets to travel as the coowner of their magical item/oddities shop.

She is carmines good friend, I think Carmine is prob the only one who treats her normally and she likes it because it’s respect rather than sucking up/Carmine praises her skills etc and is very gruff with her… carmine also is the first to help get a foot in the door, and works at carmines forge as an appraiser for items that come in (aka she begged Carmine for a chance to prove her skill and Carmine kinda made some enemies out of the elderly gem expert who was usually wrong but had a rep) she eventually wants to figure out what carmines deal is cause she’s basically a nun and only thinks about smithing.

I do need a name for her, I was thinking Beryl? Bebe as a nickname? But it feels super close to bevel….. so if you have any suggestions, let me know!

Also… if there are any relationship dynamics, archetypes, etc you wanna see… I’m gonna do some designing today and want fresh angles. PLS AND THANK U
