Now I can’t decide if Brawnsong or Brawnbelly is a better last name….. hmmm

Regardless, bevel briefly becomes Raff’s squire after begging and pleading when him and Carmine bump into the Queen’s Conclave camping. They’re sat for a few days, so bevel slowly wears Raff down until Carmine tells Raff the amount of time he trains bevel, is the amount of time she will out into making him a master work blade. Aka train him longer, and it will be better. Raff begrudgingly agrees, and soon he is a true knight with a squire. I think he would already be used to the boundless enthusiasm from training Birdie, who has graduated to full time adventurer.

I also imagine Raff basically making bevel fight each member of the Queen’s conclave cause they have a p diverse spread.

Raff the fighter = Tank, no magic, heavy hitter, trained, his job is to soak up damage, and dole it out.

Phil the wizard = glass canon. All magic, HEAVY HITTER, but has little defense and is squishy. Important to learn how to fight mages

Julian the rogue = slippery, tricky, calculated hits who can get away and reposition + uses a lot of guile (and fights ‘dirty’)

Birdie = Magic + Combat. Although she’s relegated to healer, she is technically a battle cleric, so she can fight up close and from a distance with magic, her magic is tends to hit hard and be a bit volatile. She’s a slugger, not fast.

Marlon = magic + combat. Tricky, Wiley, he prefers to not fight at all and usually doesn’t, but he’s good at a cop out.

Bev gets his but kicked quite a bit, and Birdie sympathizes greatly because Raff put her through something similar (he has no heart when it comes to training, no special treatment)

Carmine + Bevel = honorary queen’s conclave members + important allies later on
