Portia is ‘helping’ him aka fulfilling her own agenda of being in love with him, basically using her popularity as a nice leverage to help Edwin escape his bullying. Edwin sees it as his chance to impress Portia with his ‘skills’ aka none, and properly overthinks it to the point of taking so long she backs up just as he’s going in, eyes close, tongue out. It was prob 6.5 mins of back and forth and pouting before he summoned the courage to make a move, only it was way worse.
Dw edwin grows up and dates his beloved ginger princess, gains confidence and hella rizz, is fully himself, and then gets hit on all the time and he’s oblivious
