That’s a good point…and the homies did condemn they actions pretty hard…but I will say this…Rick and Morgan didn’t know for sure who was really friend or foe when that execution took place…they was just ops to be dealt wit…they were judged by who they rolled wit and not by there sins directly…Arat got knocked for confirmed sins witnessed by that community..things she personally did herself..So I can say that Rick and Morgan’s deceitful kill was done more on the premise of broad doing..Arat’s execution was a visceral itch that had to be scratched

2025-09-26 21:06:16 +0000 UTCMaggie inspired Oceanside who then inspired her to finally get on board to go to Alexandria to get Negan funny enough. Maggie eventually came around to Rick’s ways of doing things in this episode but after seeing them do that to Arat, she said aight time to get him. The beauty about this show and especially these episodes yall have watched this season, is there’s a lot of nuance and character conflict. People who said the show should’ve ended in season 8 and thought the Maggie, Paul, Daryl thing was weird, it’s all paying off and creating juicy conflict this season. And it’s all justified. Everyone’s perspective is justified to a degree and it only gets better. I will forever stand on this season being a GOAT Walking Dead season. Also arat saying “no exceptions” is what Negan said when he bashed Glenn’s head in. So you KNOW Maggie was like do what yall gotta do to Arat. Thats why what Arat said was so foul.

She was sick over what Maggie did with Gregory and that was very justified. Not saying what Oceanside did wasn’t justified but it was causing a lot of problems. I get him trying to build peace cuz it’s needed, but not everyone got a note from Carl Rick. They are not trying to honor many people. Maggie truly needs to reach towards God like her father did cuz only the spirit could heal me. You not about to take my man and I gotta do all this. I couldn’t even be a leader. I gotta heal first 😩. She’s gotta find a way to live without Glenn. It’s hard, but possible. Lord, I felt bad for Arat, but understood Ocean side. Rick you asking for too much. Just because your heart is changing doesn’t mean others will change as quickly.

2025-09-24 20:45:06 +0000 UTCsorry i just couldnt live with the saviors after they killed my people and i know my hands are clean (oceanside) its different if its rick and the group oceanside had no bodies before the saviors came and took everything from them. realistically nobody is taking arat aside and asking her why she did what she did etc she gotta go as soon as we heard she was killing kids that was her choice to laugh in they face and pull the trigger yea simon mightve told them they had to do it but if she really couldnt stomach killing a kid then she wouldnt have did it she didnt feel any remorse because negan came along and she was STILL killing innocent people 🤦🏽♀️

2025-09-24 20:17:51 +0000 UTCBut honestly, if you had that type of outlook on it you have to look at all of the seasons of TWD... just like Rick stated Daryl gave him a second chance even though he left Merle to die on the roof. Gabriel got a second chance, so did Rick, Carol, Michelle, Tara, Eugene, etc. Alot of the main characters have done terrible things and have double crossed their own group. When Negan was first introduced I hated him because of the situations. But you gotta realise, if you flip the script and if TWD main group was the saviors, you would be saying the same thing about Ricks group how evil and twisted they are. To be fair our group started it first and killed all those people in the satellite outposts for no reason Whatsoever.... so Negan taking only to begin with one was more than merciful. Negan did was aweful, yes, but killing is not going to make it any better, it doesnt bring back the dead. With also what Carl was referring to when he shot and killed that boy that was against him, he surrendered and yet Carl still shot him because it was "easier." Its not..

Do you know how MAD I would be if I were them? 2025-09-24 19:36:42 +0000 UTCThe idea to kill Negan idea obviously isn’t cancerous to Maggie and Daryl…wasn’t it just last season that yall hated Negan and were on board with our characters killing him? Now you’re angry with Maggie for still wanting him dead? What Rick and Michonne did by sparing Negan was selfish. Plain and simple. You can try to argue that Daryl and Maggie are being selfish by wanting to kill Negan, but no doubt a majority of the rest of the characters are on the side of killing Negan so it’s not like it’s an unpopular opinion. They all went into the war with the end goal of killing Negan in mind, but once Rick lost his son and heard Carl’s dying wish be to make peace with Negan, he and Michonne then selfishly decided to spare him on behalf of not just Maggie, but every other survivor of the communities that’s been wronged by him. Rick and Michonne only thought of Carl, nobody else.
