He was referring to the prison group – Rick, Lori, Carl, Daryl, Carol, Glenn, Maggie, T-Dog, Big H and Beth. That small group that was able to clear the entire prison of walkers. And y'know what? Daryl was right. They COULD do anything and that was right. And that small group will always hold a special place in my heart 🥲❤️

No need to walk on that glass for everything. Smaller items fit through the sides. But noooo., had to do the hard way. And for what? A bunch of relics? Build your own canoes and wagons! Though the seeds a good find. And that Walker bite ridiculous. One Walker and our gang just froze and let the kid get bit? Come on!

Osafa - the Pentagon is in Arlington, VA, but that's just across the river facing DC. It does have a DC address. It's massive. No way could it fit in DC proper.

2025-09-24 00:03:36 +0000 UTCI don't see how Maggie is disrespecting Rick at all. Rick's leadership got Maggie's entire family killed if we're crediting him for the journey. Rick is the one who kept forcing leadership onto her from S6 when she was working to keep peace with Deanna. He was the one who got her to speak with Gregory to negotiate a deal before we fought the saviors. Like Gregory said, Rick is her mentor. She does respect him and Rick told her in S8 "After this, I'm following you" and her repeating that isn't a big of a deal, considering she has been supplying the saviors with food while getting nothing in return simply because it's what Rick wants. IMO he betrayed her trust at the end of S8 by keeping Negan alive after telling her he was trying to kill Negan the day before. Rick is the GOAT and all but his arrogance knows no bound

Was it simply because J (you know who I'm talking about) didn't want to be leader? There were other people who had been at Hilltop who could have stepped up. I feel Maggie bullied her way into the leadership role and I think she has some tunnel vision that is dangerous as a leader. She does not agree with Rick's vision and I feel she will not support him going forward. Loving these reactions!

And what kills me is, we **know** Rick is was extremely hypocritical by sparing Negan, because if Negan had done to Michonne or even Lori what he did to Glenn... nothing in a letter from Carl would've stopped him from ending him. He put a request from Carl over the justice due to people actually hurt by Negan, and that was just wrong.

And you know without a doubt if Negan bashed Michonne's head in instead of Glenn's Rick would be in the exact same spot Maggie is in, Carl too, forgiveness wouldn't have even been a concept for him, bite or no bite. Rick was wrong for doing what he did, he wasn't the person most hurt by Negan's actions, Negan wasn't *his* to spare.

The Pentagon is in Alexandra, Virginia - just across the Potomac River from DC. When speaking about the region where DC, Virginia and Maryland come together - that's typically referred to as the DMV.

The Governor refused peace, refused to go on with his life after the fall of his community because he was consumed with vengeance after his initial actions were the reason for his downfall. Terminus could not resume their lives without savagery because they wanted their revenge on mankind due to a poor belief that all of humanity was to blame and deserved to suffer for the actions of a small few. Characters like Dale and Hershel were so important to the group, because they were merciful, and believed that people deserved life and a chance at community and forgiveness. Maggie and Daryl have lost sight of that. Our entire group actually. Daryl was speaking selfishly to Carol by disregarding the communities that Rick is trying to build. These are ALL your people now. Set rules and order in place. Build with them. It’s another example of how our group can be hypocritical. We have seen many moments where our group’s actions can be considered as savage as the groups they oppose. Rick and his group took over these communities…have no issue with taking from people because they believe they are entitled to it and try to rationalize it by believing it is a symptom of this new world. They have killed people with families. Everyone has lost someone..it is part of the world, but you can’t allow every action to be an evil reaction. If you want to have a healthy community for families and the future, you rise above evil. It’s completely lost to the audience, it seems, that Negan’s actions were a reaction to the initiative taken by our group. It was a wrong reaction, but a cycle that has been common. Those actions caused a domino of death on both sides. Everyone from Maggie down has to realize this is the end. You don’t kill to kill. Most people can change, and they deserve a chance to do so. Vengeance can not be the downfall of what we are trying to build which is a future. Those are the values that our group should have.

Maggie also had reason but she didnt get the same journey. The problem is that as a leader, Rick had the difficult final decision of whether or not to kill Negan. Unfortunately, sometimes, being a leader means making decisions where your people are not only unhappy, but not getting their justice. I agree with Rick and its unfortunate but Maggie has to fall in line on that... Daryl is in the same bag really.
