2025-09-19 03:41:19 +0000 UTCEnjoying the analysis on the episode. This ep was definitely a masterclass. just have to keep watching to see how this is gonna play out. It's interesting though the different takes on how some view people as resources and others as expendable. In a real life apocalyptic scenario though, I don't think things are clearly black and white, especially when it comes to resources and technical know how. Admittedly, Eugene has done alot of questionable things, but I simply wouldn't off him just because of his past actions. Finding a bullet-maker in those circumstances is a very rare skillset, and you don't know what future threat my bring. It's all about practicality and playing the long game (chess vs checkers). If you play checkers in this world you end up with a short lived life... And let's not forget, he is still low-key looking out for Gabriel as well.

Then he further confirmed that there was no chance for reconciliation, and that Negan's only option was death. So why would Negan respond any other way, especially when the opportunity was presented by a dead Carl and a rogue Michonne? Rick, along with a handful of others, still wants him dead, so everything else is moot fr. Most of the characters, much like y'all, feel like Negan is irredeemable. So, why would he be anything other than hostile towards them?
