And lets say we write it off as an tragic accident, from there he only leant into his madness rather than using that as a wake up call to try chnage. Didnt see him try change or help himself not even a bit. Absolutely reckless

Also, he had been affected by his emotional and physical abuse so much that he actually believed it. Andrew was going to need the Lord and some intensive counseling to get his head back right. His dad was the true lame individual. His father was the coward of this movie. He broke his son instead of uplifting him. Andrew couldn’t be true to who he was because he didn’t know himself. How can you take time to learn who you are when you are on survivor mode for years? All he knew were lies from his trauma. I never hated Andrew in this movie, just wished he would’ve found a way to hear his cousin at the end. It’s like Rick from the walking dead. If you’ve had to fight all your life, when good things finally happen, it’s hard to believe them. You are always on guard . Great movie, but sad as well.

And having a camera woulda been cool because the cool dudes always had the latest iphone and they were recording everything with it

That’s why he said he didn’t know what happened—it wasn’t premeditated, just a tragic accident that cost him his best friend. And look at what else he was dealing with: losing his mom, an abusive father, a strained relationship with his cousin, and constant hell at school. Then, when he was finally on the verge of experiencing a normal high school life after the talent show—when things finally started looking up—it all got ripped away. Sometimes it’s easier to deal with never having anything good than to taste it and lose it. With that level of trauma and isolation, it’s no surprise he spiraled. Honestly, I can’t call him a lame for that—his downfall felt almost inevitable given his circumstances.

I would just be a show off if I had the power I wouldn’t be a hero or a villain I just be doing stupid shit flying around demonstrating my power now if there is any people worth saving along the way, I will do it I just won’t go out of my way to make it my problem to do that all the time.
