That is why you need to go back and watch from the start to understand the dynamics of everyone in TF. Don't be trying to push Michonne out the way and put Maggie in there now, It's Rick and Michonne since S3 and Maggie and Glenn since S2 don't get it twisted boy, ok I'm off of my rant now. I've always enjoy this episode because out of all the new people I actually liked and enjoyed the Molly character. R.I.P. Molly. Carol was putting on a show from the moment she got captured. And it worked because Paula and her people let their guard down and they fell for Carol's act. Also Adison we can't keep everyone alive, we don't have anywhere to keep them or food to feed them, Primo had to go. I'm pretty sure Rick asked him questions that we haven't seen and all Primo can say is we're all Nagan, so he had to go.

Ain’t no loud music, ain’t no baby daddies, just good ol’ fashioned white lady panic and overthinkin. I was watchin this one with my shoes off and a glass of lukewarm mayonnaise water, smilin the whole time.

Like they are what Maggie & Carol might have turned into if they'd ended up with Negan instead of Rick. Kinda like how Morgan was a reflection of the path of Rick's mental state was in at the time in season 3, and/or who Rick very well could turn out like if be lost his wife AND his child(ren) the way Moegan did. I love when storytelling does stiff like that...

2025-07-18 13:40:58 +0000 UTCCarol is not complicated, She will do anything to to protect the people she cares about, but the killing that she has to do to keep them safe is killing her, I think she feels more guilt over the people she has killed or even not been able to keep safe than anyone on the show, but she will put her own mental health on the line to protect them

She is such a goat, she can psychologically scope and analyze everyone, craft and play a role, be undercover, disarm and undo her combatants with psychological warfare and game playing, all while basically taking a mental health day pause, and pondering some Morganesque questions for herself, truly feeling badly, wondering, hmm, have I killed too much now? I really don't want to. Disarming her captors, without any weapons, takes so little effort, and only part of her brain. I am simply afraid of what I'm gonna have to do to you. I'm giving you a chance. But, if you cross that line, it's on. And, when Carol goes home, she'll have made up some new recipes too. Water chesnuts, anyone? (The piece de resistance is when she imitates Paula's voice near the end.)

2025-07-18 05:53:54 +0000 UTCI think at the end Rick asked the guy which place Negan was at and since he was at both (was there when they attacked and then when they captured him they took him with them) Rick took that as we’ve had Negan in our possession the entire time. I do think that Carol should’ve said something about how the two women said they were all Negan because that would’ve made them think more about just how many people the saviors have and how big of an influence and threat Negan truly is if everybody is calling themselves his name

And on Jesse too. She ran to Rick saying - we know how this ends and what not. Pushing Rick to kill Jesse's husband. Carol has a lot to answer for.
