While I agree with Addison about the harshness of striking first the fact is Negan's group has already attempted to get at our group. They had every intention of taking Daryl, Sasha, and Abraham back to Alexandria to take over and kill to get compliance. Daryl took out 6 or 10 of Negan's henchmen so that definitely didn't go unnoticed and they are probably tracking the group as we speak. The error is in not investigating first to get the full details on Negan's group and frankly the cockiness in their ability to handle anything that comes their way.

Nah, making the argument that Glenn is not a good man and got off easy in this world after everything that man's done (and he was pretty young when this a kicked off, early 20s), but that he would be dead without Rick, as if Rick wouldn't have been dead by season 1, Episode 2, if Glenn didn't save Rick is crazy lol. Our literal introduction to Glenn was him contacting a random man he doesn't even know trapped in a tank surrounded in an almost impossible escapade situation, to save his life BY HIMSELF, and did, when he could have jist went back to Andrea and rhem inside the building lile, "Ayyo, this cowboy just rode in a on a horse, got his horse killed, then got himself trapped in that tank outside. It was wild," and went about his business, he would have been every bit of justified in doing just that. About 99% of people would have. Rick most likely wouldn't do that for a stranger at this point in his life, but Glenn still would to this day because at the end of the day, that's just who he truly is at the core, no matter what he's gone through. How many people have he saved and taken care of, even when he would have been justified in not doing it? Tara? He not only saved her and got her to help him, but he even covered for her with Maggie. Nicholas? That man got Noah killed and tried to murder Glenn himself, and he STILL saved him, covered for him, and even tried to work with him so much all the way til the end. Even when they were trying to escape Terminus, it was Glenn who tried to save other prisoners from the other carts, when Rick wanted to leave them behind. He's only had a few rage, but outside season 3 after the Governor incident, he's never had one where he straight up was ready and even he'll enter on catching a body... Addison was right Glenn wasn't just innocent. He wasn't lucky. He genuinely was not just a good man, but a great man, and not just in the standards of an apocolyptic world. Like Glenn said about T Dogg, "He wasn't just a good guy. He was the best".

Carol is misunderstood. Yes, she’s an A-grade killing machine, but only when she needs to be. Carol kills because circumstances force her to, and when they do, she doesn’t hesitate. She goes for the jugular and gets it done cleanly. On an ordinary day though, that’s not who she wants to be. That’s exactly why this episode opened with scenes of her quietly collecting acorns and baking. That isn’t Carol being "unlike herself" like Adison said. That IS Carol, or rather who she's trying to be. She’s tired of the bloodshed, of the violence. She's trying to hold onto a version of life that isn’t defined by survival mode. So when her "clean" life gets disrupted and she’s once again forced to kill, the blood on her shirt isn’t just literal. it’s symbolic. It marks the end of peace, not just for her, but for everyone. To me, that’s the core message of this episode: Things had been quiet, peaceful, but now, once again, they’re being dragged back into the mess. Anyways, this was a tough episode. I agree with Adison though (strangely enough), Rick and the team attacking people randomly like that is a big NO from me. They're no longer the good guys. Seeing Glenn lose a part of himself like that was sad and painful to watch. My fave character. That Hozier song towards the end was beautiful!!

In case you read this, there was a part where everyone was talking, and it's important to know that Carol was trying to track her kills then, writing down names, descriptions...she thinks she killed 18. We all know it's more than that cuz her actions took down Terminus but no one knows the number of Terminus who died in total that day. She is feeling the mental weight of it all like Morgan was saying in the group meeting. Morgan reminds her that she feels the pain and weight of killing people and I think part of why she hid is because she felt Morgan was somewhat right about people being able to change and that hit her hard in the gut shooting that wolf and watching him save Denise. It doesn't mean she believes the all life is precious mantra but there is an in between that is really troubling her and weighing her down. Thank you for all your thoughts :) you all make me think about things from various angles and it's a great experience ❤️

Anyone who can extort their enemies to kill their own leader, like what almost happened with Gregory is legit a super villain. I'm with Rick on this one but I couldn't care less for the wellbeing of hilltop, Paul or Gregory. But the way Rick presented the mission to the group made it sound like they were becoming bounty hunters fr, and that's something Rick has NEVER been good at. Sooner or later Negan was going to come across Alexandria. These people is out here patrolling the streets looking for communities and what they can take from them. Adison I'm with Rick and TF 100% and like Ofasa and Brandon said it's about US. These people are not good people as you've seen from the biker group on the road and the pictures these people have of bashed in heads on the wall. And also if Glenn was with another group he definitely would be dead, because he hadn't kill anyone, Rick Michonne Daryl Carol and even Maggie have all killed so he didn't have too. I like Abraham but I didn't like what he did to Rosita. Morgan was building a prison to housed bodies. Like who was going to feed and watch his prisoner? I get what Brandon’s saying — if Negan can get people to give up half of what they own, he must be a tough cookie to deal with. But when Rick’s group saw Hilltop, they thought: “We’re not like them — we can handle ourselves.” I wouldn’t want to be in Rick’s shoes, LOL. With so many lives at stake, there’s no “right” choice. Addison there is no difference between killing someone, and killing them in there sleep. You are still killing people either way. And Brandon was right, if you don't have the will to kill in the apocalypse you will die that is the end of it, and Glenn is willing to kill, so yes because of the people around him he has yet had to kill, but in that episode he finally had to. And also biker group who pulled up on them, there first interaction with the saviors got killed, the saviors knows that a group didn't return, which means something happened or ran into conflict, so they are already on alert for another group, so yes they would have advantagely found Rick's group, and ricks group would have been on the defensive again, so this time they decided to attack first. Every character we meet who has survived this apocalypse is not a good person, it just isnt possible to survive in this world without doing something morally bad.

I'm with you Adison with a lot that you were saying that was not cool Herschel wouldn't have allowed that. I don't agree with them going and killing a bunch of people in their sleep that they know nothing about now those creepy pictures on the wall said a lot about the saviors, it really hurt me and I actually cried when Glenn killed that person because that's not Glenn the look on his face and he cried as he did it that was something really deep and very hurtful for me. I love my group ,Rick has been through a lot and he changed since season 1 he's on his shane right now and he has been for a while the world they live in is hard to have scruples it's hard to have morals the people with the morals end up dead Herschel Dale T dog this episode gave me so much anxiety... that was a really bad idea as far as it goes I know he always talking about we got to come for them before they come for us but this (ONE)😭😭😭😭 and by the way you have a nice voice Adison❤️

The Saviors Daryl Sasha and Abe encountered on the road were going to kill them with no discussion. Had Daryl not managed to fight back all three would be dead. They also told them that they kill people and take their stuff. What conversation does Adison think there is to be had with them? If Rick asks nicely enough they will just magically be good people? Come on man.

Me personally, the world is too small. These saviors are gonna come by eventually and the hiltop told us they are very lethal and violent. I agree with brandon, it is defense. Although i also agree with Adison in that there are most certainly gonna be repercussions. But what Adison isnt considering is that with a community that subjugates others around it, our only option is to run away to another part of the country. And that's just dumb.

Love the discussion about “Lameness”. I can see all points, a person with questionable morals and standards, but on Adison’s side, I would like to believe a person can change and remake/improve themselves.
