The case was also on an episode of First 48 while in Arizona. My mind was so blown that I had to find the entire interrogation.

2025-07-19 04:29:27 +0000 UTCI feel like Osafa should have caught up to the show prior to joining the reactions because those 4 seasons he hasn't seen can really shape someone's point of view. A third point of view could have been so beneficial to the conversation, but now he kind of has to go off of what two other people are telling him rather than forming his own thoughts and opinions. It's hard to argue with two people who are more knowledgable about something because you'd just kind of acquiesce to whatever they believe since they've seen it all and you haven't, when in reality they could be misremembering or forgetting useful details.

Bye bye to the Anderson, Jessie should have taken her sons and gone to the church, not drag them through the herd like they’re seasoned veterans. I don’t blame Carol, I blame Jessie especially when she told her kid to pretend to be brave then had him out in the herd. And Brandon you’re so right Michonne don’t play about her kids. You saw last episode she was making sure they was lathered up for that dangerous walk. My favorite weapon in the zombie apocalypse would be a Katana, you don’t have to get close and you can take out multiples at a time. Father G proved himself he got himself and Judith to safely and then went out to help fight the herd. This was a great episode now on to another of my favorite episodes 😊.

She raised the boys in that environment trynna chg Pete who wouldn’t ever change. The safety measures & what the boys learn were from dealing w/having Pete live with them. Jesse instituted those, not Pete.

Pete wasn’t a good person, but Rick—you executed Ron his father. That boy’s hatred was only going to grow. And then when Jessie said, “I’ve got it, Rick. I’ll teach them how to defend themselves,” maybe Ron wouldn’t have learned “yet” how to use a gun. But no—Rick and Carl had to step in, and ended up teaching that boy exactly how to use the gun on one of them.

She legit was the first person who ran out there to fight with sprained ankled Eric, after they saw the infirmary crew out there fighting, and she was even heading down the stairs before he was. At least Eric has SOME experience, considering that he was one of the recruiters with Aaron. Just two/three days ago, Carol was just handing Olivia a gun with probably minimum experience with them, if any at all, telling her to stand guard and protect the armory, after she was found hiding the closet during the wolf invasion. Now she's she one of the first people jumping out here into a sea of walkers with a melee weapon putting in work. Gotta give the credit and respect where it's due 🫡...

Rick did not on his own just shoot Pete, yet everyone keeps blaming Rick! Deanna put Pete down, Rick just carried it out. He WAITED on Deanna's word! Blame Deanna...but no, no one does that. Annoys me. Deanna can take it, Rick (and Carl) shouldn't have to!

Hey, just so there’s some clarity on what Rick was saying to Carl at the end of that episode: When he talks about the “feeling” he hasn’t felt since before he woke up in that hospital bed? He’s talking about hope. And that is huge for him. Because if you trace Rick’s journey back from Season 1, you’ll realize he’s never had true hope, not since the world fell. From the moment he woke up alone in that hospital, everything has been about survival. First it was about finding Lori and Carl. Then it was about keeping Carl and Judith alive. Then it became about keeping Team Family alive. That drive to survive was the only thing fueling him. Not belief in a better world. Just staying alive, one day at a time. Over the seasons, people like Dale, Hershel, Bob, and Deanna tried to guide him toward something more. Dale begged them all not to give up hope and their humanity. Hershel told Rick that broken things can still grow and encouraged Rick to think about a future for his son. Bob reminded him that nightmares end and to not let too much of himself go along the way or he can never come back to who he was. And Deanna believed in building a future, in community. But Rick couldn’t accept any of it. Not fully. He was almost too far gone, too hardened by everything he’d seen, done, and lost. Until this episode. This was the first time Rick truly saw it. He watched the Alexandrians, the people he didn’t think could make it, rise up beside him. He saw them fight for their home, for them, for each other. He saw that Deanna was right: they are his people. And they proved that the world doesn’t have to stay broken. That’s what makes his speech to Carl so powerful. He’s not just talking about rebuilding walls—he’s talking about rebuilding the world. For Carl. For Judith. For everyone. “Everything Deanna was talking about is possible. It’s all possible—I see that now.” That line alone marks the turning point. Not just for the arc of the season—but for Rick Grimes as a character. Because when you really think about it, Rick was the last one among them still clinging to the old way. Still locked in survival mode, without belief in anything more. Tara, Daryl, Michonne, Glenn, Maggie, etc, all of them understood what they had now and what they could build. Rick was the last one whose walls had to come down. And they finally did.

Finding her strength and courage through that experience(you can even tell with the way she calmly made that deal with the wolf in the midst of that sea of walkers), she was able to hold onto that and locked in when she saw them carrying Carl to the infirmary. That whole wolf situation ended up being the thing that saved Carl...

2025-07-12 18:58:01 +0000 UTCThe butterfly effect. Morgan saving that wolf and telling his story led to a moment where the wolf saves the doctor in an attempt to get to the infirmary to save himself. After being shot by Carol he still attempts to save the doctor leading to her getting to the infirmary, allowing her to be able to assist Carl when he shows up confirming he won’t die. All to say if Morgan had not saved that wolf then Carl would’ve died. As Eastman always said “ where there’s life there’s potential. “Also Carol telling Sam about “the monsters” last season traumatized him so much that he got his family killed when passing through the “monsters” due to his fear.

From the moment Rick started liking her and she started clinging to him and going all damsel in distress, my grits were overcooked because...Hello, MICHONNE. Like, there was never any comparison and the weaker the writers showed us Jessie was and the more tapped mentally both her boys' behavior became ...I knew they weren't 'make it' material, but them wasting episodes only for me to be so accurately correct made me mad because I would've taken Lizzy post 'we have to wait' instead of both the boys and the attempt to vilify Carol by having her voice in Sam's head when in fact Jessie telling the boy to pretend to be brave is what made him decline safety at the church wasn't cool either.

It overcooked my grits to the max. I'd have rathered Lizzy post 'we have to wait' had made it to Alexandria if that were the case...I have gone in depth about how the boys became dead weight and how I just have no patience for Jessie under different vids but this is my episode to purge without spoiling anything why I couldn't stand her actions and lack of ability to read a situation or timing ... More comments will be coming I'm thinking of doing like a 3 part to break the entire situation down and how from jump...The writers were just playing with our emotions and feelings, like I feel like they had Rick playing with Michonne's from the moment he met Jessie🙄

When Gabriel said that the Lord will give them strength to save Alexandria! Lawd have mercy! In Jesus name the Father will provide for those who are willing to have faith in one another and work! They went in! That’s really all they could do at that point. The way I would’ve been scared to take Judith to the church. 😂 Lawd, little baby please don’t cry. They gave her to the right person tho. Gabriel has a calming spirit when he’s not acting a fool. Omg, when Carl got shot, I had about 20 heart attacks. Lawd, I thought baby boy was gone. I felt bad for Jessie. She was really trying to get better, but had her sons to worry about. Once Sam was taken, it was over. Jessie couldn’t hear or see anything but her pain. Felt bad for Ron too. Little boy really knew his father was wrong, but at the end of the day, that was still his father. He probably hoped that one day his father would change for the better. When Glenn spoke to Enid in the church about the people who keep him going : his parents, Dale, Andrea, Herschel and Tyreese! This hits home and really helps the audience understand why Glenn is so empathetic and helps those that the average human would not. All the people he named were hoping for a better future and did not want to become monsters because of this world. His parents raised an amazing human. Dale would be so proud of him and Herschel would be grateful that Glenn is willing to die for his daughter. He left her in great hands. Andrea would be proud of her brother and Tyreese would encourage Glenn to continue to be a light in the darkness. 😭 Lawd when those walkers surrounded Glenn by that wall! I’m like Walking Dead, don’t do this to me again😩. Sasha, Abraham and Daryl for the win! Everyone was the MVP of this episode! I love crash out Rick sometimes😂. He stay leading the pack!
