What Rick and his group did get this legion of Walkers out of the way of Alexandria was momentous. The side distractions with Alexandria naysayers and plume dumb haters made even more treacherous. Meanwhile the dumbs was like feed me Seamore, lol.

A cool fact about the names of those last episodes of season five is they’re actually in reference to a story given by Dale in season one. Dale: I like what father says to his son when he gave him a watch that had been handed down through generations. He said I give you the mausoleum of all hope and desire, which will fit your individual needs no better than it mine or my fathers before me. I give it to you not that you may REMEMBER time but that you may FORGET it for a moment now and not SPEND all your breath TRYing to CONQUER it. Which my interpretation for them doing that is because Rick was acting like Shane. However, he overcame Shane’s way and tried it a different way for a moment stopped trying to conquer them because he took the advice of his “family” while keeping that mentality and it worked in his favor. Where Shane didn’t and was a my way or the highway type of person even when given the same advice by Andrea. Anyway onwards to my second favorite season👏👏👏👏👏.

Rick is in Alexandria but it's an Us and them mentally for him. I always like when Rick creep up on Carter head tilting and swagging and take the gun from Carter and kick him. BTW the guy Carter also auditioned for the role of Rick Grimes and I must say I'm so glad they went Andrew Lincoln because he absolutely kills it. Michonne did take Morgan protein bar, she was eating it and Rick said are we eating his food now and Michonne said "the mat says welcome" lol. Ron or his mother never told Rick thank you for saving his worthless life. As far as I'm concern Rick should have let him go over the cliff. You guys was asking why Morgan was in the jail house, Morgan wanted to be put there because he and Rick is at different place and don't really know each other. There is a horn coming from Alexandria so what does that mean for the community with a herd coming at them. Also TF have been in Alexandria for about a week and a half, since Heath said he and his group was gone for 2 weeks. So TF got there and shake the whole place up lol. Also the bald guy Scott is Sasha's real life husband. Can't wait for E2.

Side note - the last time Rick saw Morgan he was on demon time and stabbed Rick in the shoulder, he was crazy town. Rick was just taking precautions about Morgan's sanity with the whole quasi jail cell. Morgan said "I know how it is" (He was just sad it happened, he wasn't criticizing Rick)

A brand new home in Alexandria right now would probably be about a millir or two 😆😭. I moved right outside of NoVa, where the suburbs get rural real fast hut close enough to where I can still fet to work under half and hour lol...

Agreed. Rick favored Jessie and he pretty much told her he was only going this because he liked her. Dawn was sick… she thought she was a good person but anybody who not only allows somebody else to get hurt, but helps to scout for more people to hurt is a horrible person. Deanna truly thought that Pete was more of a better good contribution. “He’s healing the community and just had an alcohol problem”, also his wife was his own advocate so she decided to turn the other cheek. If his wife was begging for help I’m sure she would’ve exiled him, I don’t think they’re comparable

Oh, it was DEFINITELY Michonne that stole that protient bar 😄. She was munching on it when Carl was talking about getting a crib, and she said she'd go with him lol. She actually stole a bag a chips first, too, when they first got there, and Rick called her out when suddenly heard her just casually munching away behind him like they wasn't just getting shot and evaded booby traps. "The mat said welcome 🤷🏾‍♀️" lol (if you pay attention to when Morgan is confronting Michonne about it, Rick is just standing there's listening to the conversation, watching them from the corner of his eye, and he looks likes he lowkey wants to say something because he knows Michonne's is just straight up giving Morgan the smoooothest gaslighting over a protien bar 😆)... One of my favorite things is when they give characters little random, but reoccurring characteristics to certain characters, even it's real subtle. Like, if you really pay attention, you'll realize that Michonne is lowkey a foodie(and loves random art 😆). The food she stole from Morgan(the random cat statue she also stole from the restuarant in the episode lol). Her getting hype over a unopened cheese wiz and immediately goes to work on it(her observing all of the different paintings in the house her and Carl checked out in the same episode, after just seeing dolled up, while intensely discussing something she just saw at an art gala her her boyfriend and friend in the dream/flashback 2 eps prior). Her having candy bars and even adorably whining about not getting the one that she wanted lol(I adore that apparently Michonne/Carl always share their snacks/treats together). There might be a couple of others I missed, so far. And you know she was probably scavenging for snacks(and random art kick knacks) the whole time she was searching for The Governor lol. She ain't tough those Woodbury scrambled eggs though lol. She also really loves toothpaste and brushing her teeth lol. Like it's one of those little, personal "luxury" things she misses the most since the apoclypse. When they first got to Alexandria and they were all in the house, she came out the bathroom all smiling asking how long was she in there for. Rick said 20 mins, and she said she couldn't stop brushing(and that's when Rick walked over like to her like he been clocking her for 20 mins to her to get out of the bathroom so he could show off his new face 😄)...

Man, that conversation Rick had with Morgan about Carter was crazy. Rick said Carter was gonna die and he did. Parallel! Glenn is trying to do so much good. I think that the lessons he has learned from many people in his life is what is driving him. Also, in season 5 episode 2, when Gabriel brought the group back to his church and they began looking around. Glenn found a framed bible verse on the wall. It read: And let us not grow weary of doing good. For in due season we will reap if we do not give up. Galatians 6:9. Glenn is looking for a light in this dark world and when you cannot find the light, be the light. Glenn would make a great teacher for children ☺️ He’s someone to look up to. Love him all the way to my bones.

Gentlemen! There is NO way you can compare Dawn and Deanna on the scale of evil! No way! Dawn was evil and crazy! She was having her people seek out the weak and allowing the male officers to assault the women they captured. Deanna was weak and foolish, but she cared about her people. All of her people. And cared enough to seek survivors who would help her people survive. The survivors had a choice to join and were not held captive. She was wrong in believing Pete had changed. Wishful thinking. She ignored what was going on. She was wrong. But her heart was in the right place. As for Rick, he wasn't acting out of his good, kind heart. He told Jesse he would not done what he did for anyone else.

I disagree with you guys. I believe that if Pete had k!lled someone else besides her husband, and if asked whether or not to have Pete buried within the compound, she would still have refused and had his body disposed outside. Adison, I had the same idea as you regarding burning up the walkers in that hole, but the smoke and fire is going to attract WAAAAYYYY more Walkers. It would be way too risky with little, or no reward in return.

It’s something little but I love how Andrew Lincoln delivered the line “He’s just somebody who shouldn’t be alive now.” When he was talking to Morgan about Carter. You can see the rage and pain on his face and hear it in his voice. You can tell that Rick is thinking about all the people that should be alive instead of Carter. That scene on the porch is one of my favorites in the whole season. It was just beautifully acted by both of them.

I've often thought through options. I agree that burning them would take too long or you need to bomb the entire area. I thought about fortifying it so the walkers can't get out. But another group could come upon the horde to let them out towards Alexandria I think the better plan is to break up the horde and send walkers in different directions away from Alexandria.

First, when y'all said you'll try to get through all 11 seasons in 2025, I didn't think you could do it. But you are on track. Second, Rick needs to let go of Jesse; she cannot hook up with the dude who killed her children's father now. Finally, I struggled with Morgan in this episode. There was nothing Rick could do about Carter! Compassion in that moment is to take Carter out instead of letting him suffer. However, Rick needs to keep listening to Daryl, Michonne, and Morgan to balance him out. Fun fact: Sonequa's (Sasha) husband is in this season, Kenric plays Scott, part of Heath's crew that showed up at the gate.

The protein bar drama was one of my favorite mini storylines. Michonne did eat his protein bar because remember when they were at his place and Rick asked Michonne, “so we’re eating his food now?” Then Michonne just shrugged and said, “the mat said welcome”.
