2024-09-23 06:47:30 +0000 UTCI think we need to understand Jaimes situation here. He failed on his latest mission to bring Myrcella home, him freeing Tyrion led to Tywins death. He is trying to get back on the good side for his family. Jamie is deep down a descent guy but he is too much obsessed with Cersei whom brings out the worst side of him. He wasn't hostile when he talked with the Blackfish but was met with insult, he wasn't hostile with Edmure but was met with insult which forced Jamie to say all those things at the end to make Edmure surrender the castle. When Jamie is away from Cersei he is not bad at all. Imagine this guy has been called a Kingslayer all his life for saving Kingslanding from a mad man who nearly burned the whole city alive. He is a very complicated character but I am team Jamie, minus the incest.

Everyone always miss the part where he tells her, "you'll never be a faceless man, but you are ready to become something else". He took a liking to her and wanted to train her but he always knew that she would be going home. Beating that girl was her final test.
