yeah i just looked it up. it was actually considered a "healthy" thing to do and doctors prescribed it for some things. some people knew starting in the 20s it could lead to cancer but cigarettes did not start to be viewed as unhealthy until the 1950s.

He's just not letting Tommy steamroll him. I hope the longer they watch the show, the less they blindly "stan" Tommy lol.

Understand that this show is in 1919, not 2019. As for Freddie, the only thing that he's done that is "dumb" is he should've never gotten involved with Ada in the first place because he's too deep into this revolution(which honestly is more important than some girl.) But at the end of the day, Freddie is a flawed human being just like all good characters are.

Freddie can be annoying, But if you think about it, He is fighting against the system. Ada knew who he was before they married, The cause is important to him which makes this all difficult. Although, Yes he can be annoying lmao.
