I would recommend you read a World of Ice and Fire (world-building book). The world (like our own) is vast and contains many ancient cultures that are completely different with different customs and values. In the far east, the Jhogos Nhai, who are a nomadic people’s similar to the Dothraki (who ride zebra like Zhorses) have two genders, the Jhat and the Moonsingers. The Jhat are warriors and a more masculine gender, while the Moonsingers are workers of faith and more feminine. For their culture it does not matter what gender you are born, you must choose one of the two and live that way. The Triarchy, where Lannister is in this episode, are made up of ancient people from different critics and cultures. Dying their hair different colours and having practises about gender and sex that we (as people that Westeros is based on) would find strange was written into the world decades ago. It’s not an agenda, it’s a fantasy world, and even our own world has people and cultures of vast values and practices. Dragons, incest and child-murder is not as bad, but this is where you think an agenda is being pushed? If you’re going to indulge in this world you need to have a less prejudiced and more open-minded perspective.

2024-08-13 01:13:50 +0000 UTCThis was a 10 episode season but HBO got bought out by Warner Bros and they cut it to 8 because of the budget. 9 and 10 will be episode 1 and 2 of Season 3. That’s why this build up type episode felt like an episode 8 of 10 episode season. It still was a very good episode. Ulf and Jase. Jase may feel the most threatened by Ulf because Ulf is Viserys’ and Daemon’s half brother. While Hugh’s mother was aunt to Viserys and Daemon. Obviously there are other people in line to inherit before Ulf. But out of the three new dragon riders Ulf is closest kin to Rhaenyra.

2024-08-13 00:40:10 +0000 UTCAt the end of the reaction, someone mentioned to you guys about mothers going behind their kids backs to betray their kids. Catlyn and Alicent. Because you guys haven’t finished GOT yet it can be hard to say if Cat made a good or bad decision until you have seen it all. It’s like if you were watching the super bowl and at half time someone asked you how the team was doing. Then at the end of the game you might have a different opinion or not. You really have to see it all to make your own decision. What we do know is that Robb was gone when Jaimie was brought back. Jaimie would be dead by nightfall by the Karstark’s and they threatened Cats life too. Having Jaime promise to protect Sansa/Arya if she let him go or having Jaime and her both dead when Robb got back were her choices. Once you guys finish season 8 it would be fun to talk about that again to see whether that was a good decision for the Starks or not. I love the fact that you guys have people you talk to after the show. It makes your reactions very unique and entertaining.

2024-08-13 00:28:56 +0000 UTCWhen Rhaenyra was talking to Alicent and told her it was too late it was because Corlys fleet had already left and we see Tyland and his fleet going to meet them , the Lannister and Hightower armies were pulling up to the Starks and Rivermen/Daemon. They showed us that at the end of the episode. It was Literally too late as a raven couldn’t deliver the message in time to stop them. Loved seeing the dragon flying over the Hightower army it was Blue with Copper colored wings. So pretty. Why she has to take Aegon’s head is because all of these armies are marching in support of Aegon. If she can’t show he is dead then that means he would still have supporters trying to unseat her from the throne even if she is able to take Kings Landing.

That guy had his tongue cut out and he was part of the group that went to Harrenhall to kill Harwin Strong. I have heard other reactors think that when they first see that guy in episode 6.
