Kill Bill 2 RAW REACTION

The 1st Kill Bill movie was something else! I was curious about how they could possibly top that with the 2nd film. Welp I don't know which one I like better but this one is definitely a crazy ride with a storyline that I did not expect. Hope ya'll enjoy the uncut reaction to Kill Bill 2!

I love all the references to things in the 70’s. First of course, the opening sequence in Vol 1. That’s how movies started then. Bill saying “That’s my favorite song of the 70’s, when she asked “When will I see you again”. The $64,000.00 question (as opposed to the one million Adison inquired), which was a game show that ran in the 50’s-60’s, that was discovered to be rigged. So many puns, and time period references. Like part of the soundtrack from Clint Eastwood’s, “The Good, The Bad & The Ugly”. Another of my personal favorites. It’s a great movie. As Adison said, “a classic”. Thanks for watching with us.

As spiritual men, I can’t believe y’all messed up the ending as bad as you did. Have you never experienced the cathartic grace of redemption? The emotions are pouring out of her because she can finally be born again as a new woman who is no longer a killer. Which is what she was TRYING to do initially by leaving with her unborn baby and starting a new life - which, sorry but it’s also CRAZY that you called her foul for that. Do we not all deserve to change our ways and be redeemed for it? And she said she wanted a clean slate for her daughter. Does an innocent child not deserve to be kept safe? Or do you really place the parental rights of an assassin kingpin (who y’all even were calling a groomer earlier, and you were at least a little onto something, due to Bill being older, her trainer and boss, so he definitely had the ability to manipulate her into a relationship at the least) above the wellness and safety of a child? So yeah, she had put herself on a path of betterment, wanting to leave that behind. That’s why she acts the way she does when Bill shows up at the church. The old Beatrix would’ve gone into stealth assassin mode the second she heard his flute. Instead, she attempted to make amends with Bill because she doesn’t want that life anymore. As you said, he’s much older than her, and she had to have been training for a long time to be as good as she is. And she’s still a young woman when we meet her. So just how young was she when she became a part of this life? And how? I think the inference here is that it’s likely she was young enough that she got pulled into it rather than chose it. And then when she is able to mature some, and get a better life perspective due to becoming a mother, she chooses better. Unlike Bill, who is an old man running a crime operation, clearly keeping younger women led astray, who has close associates such as pimps who cut women’s faces when they displease him, and who literally uses his little girl at the end as a human shield. Lol y’all calling him a good dad is also WILD. There’s an intentional contrast between the videos he lets her watch - Shogun Assassin- and her now watching cartoons with her mom. So yeah, saying they both the same? Ain’t it. The text on the screen at the end is literal. It IS supposed to be a happy ending.

I remember watching that, Conan, Viper, Nightrider, and Highlander.

I don’t know if anyone mentioned this already but the random bleep outs that seem to make no sense is bleeping out her real name aka the bride and it is done purposefully.

The Kill Bill franchise is the only one where I actually like the second one better, but I think it’s because it’s a full story cut in half. A masterpiece.

Re: The song that plays when The Bride has a flashback This song (or the opening bars, rather) is the theme from an old show named Ironside, and was produced by the great Quincy Jones (who, among other things, also did the theme song to Sanford and Son). The full song is on Quincy's album Smackwater Jack.

The fight battle of the blondes was iconic because Uma and Darryl had a Hollywood rivalry back in the day.
