HBO is currently producing a show based on George's Books, The Tales of Dunk and Egg, main being the same Duncan The Tall who Old Nan mentioned. I believe Old Nan knew Dunk, that they were around the same age when Dunk came to Winterfell. Rumor has it that Dunk may have left behind a descendant there at Winterfell. Who, I wonder???? *evil smirk*

And you spoke over what the nights watch guy does (he collects people from the dungeons to join the nights watch). Even the fact that the blade belongs to Tyrion (the dwarf) thats why they think the Lannisters are involved

2024-05-19 16:55:32 +0000 UTCTrying hard not to spoil. 😬 Thankfully, all of season 1 is posted. 😋 It is quicker to pick out the "good" characters, than the bad in this show. When we first get to King's Landing (the capital city), there are just no good characters. Period. The Starks aren't from there; It shows. Renly Baratheon, the King's younger brother isn't too bad. He doesn't show a lot of scheming or conniving. The rest show us nothing but deception and double-dealing. What would I do about it? Frankly, they should just round up all the Small Council members and nobles of King's Landing and give them an ultimatum; Either swear fealty to the Crown again and move back to your Homelands to act as Bannermen abroad ... OR ... take the Black and man the Wall. Tywin & Cersei should just be outright executed. Tyrion should be made Hand of the King again and Jaime, if he doesn't kill himself in the meantime, should be given Casterly Rock to rule provided he takes Cersei's ... offspring ... with him: Jaime would hate the tedium of ruling. This would be a good series of just desserts for all the King's Landing snakes post Season 1. 🤷♂️
