I actually love your theory of Tommy cause I never considered it, but the only part that leads me to disagree is my own theory that when Tommy told Alex "Sometimes falling in love with your bestfriend is ok", Tommy meant himself. He was trying to tell her that HE HIMSELF was in love with her, and she misinterpreted that into being with Nick. So by the time Janine came(and went), Tommy felt like Nick had taken TWO WOMEN from him and he wasn't gonna let that happen twice lol ALL SPECULATION THOUGH OBVIOUSLY! im glad you enjoyed it!

Alex and Nick ended up together cause tommy TOLD Alex that nick was the one for her. I feel like the “Tommy” that told Alex to be with nick, was actually tommy from the future, and I feel like that time jump was done before tommy got married to Janine. So nick got with Alex, but nick and Alex didn’t last long, as the movie originally introduced. and then, I feel like that divorce took place because tommy began to regret the choice he made with going back in time and pairing Alex up with nick. And once janine and nick got together, Tommy was probably in the headspace of : “I made a mistake and I needa fix it” and he started to go back to try and get back to the woman he married. And when nick finally lost Janine, that’s when nick took back control and went back in time to fix everything. This is all so confusing so I prob sound insane but I also believe Tommy had enough money to salvage his memories and pay for a more expensive memory recovery, and I feel like he had the privilege to get memories from his previous realities. I feel like Tommy had the most perspective out of everyone. It’s so many mysteries and unanswered questions in this movie ! Lovely reaction💕
