2023-05-04 19:12:38 +0000 UTCAlso, for future episodes (and honestly, your own enjoyment), you may want to turn off Amazon's annoying autoplay next episode feature and listen to the credit scenes that have music. So many commentators miss the fact that then will play either full versions of songs that were teased (Scanlan's cover song when Grog was taking a dukie earlier) or alt versions of songs played in episode (Laura Bailey/Vex does one in full on lounge act vamp mode upcoming).

2023-04-17 23:02:23 +0000 UTCAdison, the dragon was playing with Grog's ass. Black Dragon's in D&D are as cruel as they come. The epitome of play with your food. The black dragon's full name is Umbrasyl, the Hope Devourer. Didn't breath weapon attack Grog, didn't go airborne. The cast does a watch party after episodes where they discuss the making of it and each episode. They said that Grog was F'd up internally but the sword kept him going. I'm not sure they did a great job conveying that in the show unless they wanted us to think like Grog that he had a chance and the dragon was just baiting him in.
