I got a few sketches in today, drew with Rubber Skunk Too all day and talked about art. I also am teaching a few higher level artists privately to brush up on my chops. I did a little slew of portraits that were themed around "brutish jaws". On the upper right I got into hulking out his feet, pecs, exploring builds never seen by men to draw a visual library for myself since no one else seems to have drawn where I go with bodies now a-days. I had trouble with imagining chins in different angles and poses, and tried breaking it down and failed. Doing a circle then a huge wedge shape right on top doesn't allow enough space for his upper and lower jaw to fit over the chin! So I had to figure something out. ______________________ 060415 - 02 https://www.dropbox.com/s/dloyew7o645t7bk/060415%20-%2002.jpg?dl=0 Was playing more with chin ideas and found out if I draw the circle for the skull, jaw and teeth section, then rest the chin on top of that, it worked much better. Also trying to learn how to draw chins in isolation then add the head on top so I can draw things at any scale and size for fun.
