One of the things he's been encouraging me to do is draw things I genuinely like for myself and work off of that instead of working off of only what he likes. It helps me balance out my own repressed growth feelings, and the bonding helps me feel less alone.
I have been enjoying my art more, which has taken a very very long time. I only would get aroused by my freakish art 7 years ago, with some tidbits of arousal here and there... But having a community of people on my Telegram, Discord to urge me and tease me with their own huge ideas has been the best ever.
Truly I grow so much from it!
Finally been beating a lot of depressive thoughts I had last year about myself and art. It's been really freaking nice to wake up not anxious.
