As always loving your input, Wooyoung definitely is a very good guy but I found myself irrationally angry everytime you shipped him with Mirae instead of Kyungseok 😂 I can relate to Mirae a bit too hard, it's too difficult for me to be in a relationship with how I feel about myself, you can't be comfortable and secure in how someone feels about you if you even hate yourself...

Great reaction. When I started watching this drama, I loved both Kyung seok & woo young but that restaurant scene just made me believe Kyung seok is better choice for mi rae. Also, luckily I never suffers from second lead syndrome. 😂

Kyung Seok is also her second and only friend who doesn't see her superficially in any way and that she feels she can trust. That may have played into why she rejected him. She maintained that they should be friends, she didn't shut him out of her life

I wanted to tell you one story of my life because you questioned if it's possible to be friends after rejection. I met one of my friends in finnish military service. I was dating at the time and he was dating at the time. We became good friends during that time. Then when we were single we hooked up. I wanted more but he didn't. His past relationship was serious one. We had on and off relationship for few years. I confessed few times but he didn't want serious relationship because of the distance. We lived in different towns. Then he found someone who he wanted to date. I was heartbroken. My heart froze. I wanted to hate him but couldn't. So we continued as friends. After a year and half I found someone, my husband. I told him about my friend. And he understood that friendship. After like 5 years I talked to my friend about our past and asked what he thought. He said that he was scared and some part of him regrets not getting together with me. But still to this day we are friends. We are best friends. I have few best friends and he is still there. When I need to I can stay over his place and I have met his girlfriends over time. We are still close and even our own heartbreaks wouldn't affect that. So it is possible with honesty and good friendship where you put others need before your own.

Hi Jeff, since you said you are watching other dramas in your free time, I hope you check out this drama called Flower of Evil. this is more of a serious drama (suspense) so I don't know if it's suitable for your reactions but the acting is amaaaaazing in this. I don't know if you'll want to watch the entire drama but even if you don't, I hope you still check out the acting. The main character is played by Lee, Jun Ki who is known for his great acting. All the other actors are great as well. :)

I'm just don't care who mirae end up because kyungseok and woo young are both good for me but kyungseok is the main character so I guessing woo young is just third wheel this episode was so heartbreaking she's dismissed keyongseok twice and there dismissed woo young.. I hope they'll be okay also thanks a lot for reaction I hope youll watch more dramas without romantic staff like sky castle or the world of married couple also I hope you will watch historical dramas like scarlet hearts in scarlet hearts acted baekyun(side role ) and iu (lead female) I'm sorry for possible grammatical mistakes I'm not very fluent in English thank you Jeff ♥️

If I remember correctly from the webtoon (I read it years ago), Woo Young's character was a bit more superficial and I even think he made Mirae cry/sad because of something appearance related he said to her, and then Kyung Seok confronted him about it. It was nice to see that the drama made him such a likable character that it was difficult to solely be team Kyung Seok or team Woo Young. I remember it was difficult to start watching the drama thinking that Woo Young was going to be a slight jerk, but they ended up making him such a nice guy. It was also interesting to see how the director changed that flaw of his and made it into wisdom about liking someone for their appearance :')

yea i think the writers definitely had to put that list in to make him flawed a bit. he was actually kind of too perfect as a man: great looks, great attitude, great work ethic. too perfect lol. that’s why mi rae says something like i didn’t know you were like that. and i agree! i think in that moment, we all knew kyung seok is a better fit for mi rae 🙊🙊

I know this isn't the point of the scene, but the thing that bothers me most about Woo Young's "preferences" speech is that all the preferences he listed are the ones ingrained by colorism/fatphobia/western standards etc. You know what I mean? Oh, you just HAPPEN to like pale and skinny girls with double eyelids? So, even though he has a bit of a point and he's still a decent guy, it totally turns me off him as a character. But at the same time, I LOVE how that scene is juxtaposed with Kyung Seok talking about how Mirae is just herself in his eyes, whether she's pretty or ugly. He's always liked her for just doing her own thing and making him approximate a smile with her quirks, lol. As usual, I love hearing your thoughts on the show!

So excited!!! After watching: Yeah this episode was wild... and I agree it is so easy for outside viewers to say "just ignore what everyone else says!", but I think the good thing about this show is that it makes us acknowledge that it's not always that easy. I love dramas like this that have so many layers to dissect, because normally people wouldn't expect that level of depth from a romance-focused show. As the saying goes, don't judge a book by its cover. Anyways, I loved the reaction as always, can't wait for next episode!! 💗
