Illustrations for my game Breakneck where it shows the basics up in the top row of icons, advanced techniques in the middle, and the powers you get in the bottom.
Here's the WIP ideas of the top icons. Below is a black box for text

Jump with the jump button (depends on controller), you can double jump.

Attack w attack button. Typically R1, or R Shoulder. Hold up or down in mid-air for different attacks.

You can fill up speed meter to increase your sword and dash range up to 3 levels.

Jump and hold against walls to slide. Move away from wall (no jump) to bounce off of it.

Health drains over time. Kill enemies to gain health.

Running is good. Sprinting builds speed. Hold up or down when you run up or down slopes to make Kin sprint. Hold down without moving to slide. Some steep slopes make you auto slide, or slip. Holding the dash button and moving back and forth to refresh dash is doable.
When Kinetic runs out of health, he enters survival mode where he has a bit of time to kill and enemy to restore life before dying. If you use up survival mode, you'll die if you run out of health again.

Flashing enemies give keys. Which shows up top how many you need left. When zero, the gate to the next zone opens, and closes when you pass it.
