Pledges have started to process, which means in the next week or two I'll have sent out all the rewards for this month! I am thinking of sending the autographed merchandise and bikini vlogs every other month, or every month, or every third month of support. That way I can reward higher pledges more than once! That's still in the works, though! :)
Also, please remember that some of you have declined pledges. If you could go in and make sure your pledge for this month went through, I would appreciate that. I'll be checking back in a week, and anyone who is still declined will be removed. Please message me if you're having a problem and I will help you or make an exception for you! :)

This is the month of the bikini vlog, the 24-hour stream attempt, and hopefully the month I reach my goal for a better mic and podcast versions of my vlogs! :)

They'd perform on the street or in taverns and people would 'pass them over a shiny penny' (ye oldie talk for give them change). Minstrels, though part of the serf/low classes, would be granted access to all kinds of fancy places; lord's manors, castles etc. Some minstrels got brazen, however. These galling fellows took it upon themselves to try romance, and subsequently, 'plow the garden' of the Lady of the House while the husband was out and about, adventuring or warring. Much of this happened during the Crusades, a very violent period in history. In the Middle East anyway. Europe, on the other hand, was deserted of most warrior men. So began a time of gentler men wooing the ladies. This time and events is what led to the creation of 'romance' itself. This, combined with a lot of people having had their fill of war, led to an intellectual and artistic growth in Europe. It reached its zenith in what would be called the 'Romantic era'.
