For no reason I woke up this morning with a text from RED showing that my IG had been deleted.
I appealed, but I know another Twitch streamer friend of mine who appealed on the 22nd of December and still no reply.

Instagram was by far my favorite social media. I never had anything removed (almost never, and not for a while) and I was pretty tame on there as well. I posted my aesthetic progress and life on there daily since like 2011 and I am seriously heartbroken. Any other one aside from Patreon and YouTube and I would have not cared. You guys know I love expressing myself through graphic art and aesthetically pleasing images, and now I don't have a normal platform for that in the capacity I had IG. I was quickly nearing 200k, too!

2019-01-09 02:12:05 +0000 UTCYes, I think when platforms started acting like publishers with a moral and political agenda is when we went wrong. Most companies are run by crazies these days. Things have shifted, and it makes me sad. But, as they say, freedom isn't free. Maybe we have to start paying to keep it again. I appreciate you noticing how important my IG account was to me. We will prevail, though!

A person's life, lived and recorded. To be deleted by the whims of some algorithm or care-less mod. Don't you have a feeling the world took a wrong turn somewhere when this is actually a thing? Platforms deleting people's accounts, life's stories, recorded with care and time, because of any perceived vague infraction. Sad with you Tara. Happy 2019 I guess. The world keeps turning wrong.
