EVE'S GETTING SPAYED TOMORROW!

Hey Guys!

I just wanted to let you know Eve has her big procedure tomorrow. I am SO nervous! I have heard of animals dying during anesthetic procedures, and I would die if anything happened to her!

I asked so many questions. I woke up this morning with a cold (fucking sick people at events giving me their AIDS) and I worried that I could transfer it to her. I know when I get anything done under anesthesia I am not allowed to have a cold, and studies show that colds and flues can transfer from cat to owner, and owner to cat. The vet told me not to worry. He has 20 years of experience, so I am hopeful. I just don't know how to keep her from jumping and pulling stitches.

I'll be doing a Caturday vlog on her procedure and healing. Wish her luck! I know you guys love her, too. If you have any tips, let me know! :)

LOVE YA!

.1 is still 1/1000! I'd never have gotten plastic surgery or my wisdom teeth out if 1/1000 people died doing it. I'd venture to say that it's so high because people don't care as much about animals, there's little to no legal liability, and they are small and hard to save/take care of.

You NEVER fucking declaw a cat, oh my GOD! Please do research on what that does to them... :(

Hi LMT, if You are worried about her pulling it just tell the vet. I don't know if they put a little vest or something around her as standard procedure or not. But if You tell the vet You can discuss with him what to do. The chance something goes very wrong is very small LMT. I read only 0.1%. But still, I understand You are worried a bit. There are tests if she can handle the anesthetic and so. Like liver, heart and kidney test. If that would make You feel better that is an option too maybe? And if Eve starts showing signs of a cold or something in the coming hours or You feel too unsure You can postpone the operation for a bit too. Sort of like a last resort for now. She is still young. In here they normally spay around 6 months and male cats between 6 and 8 months. Just saying You have options. But the best option is not to worry too much, really. Good luck LMT, J and Eve with the procedure! ❤️😻❤️😻❤️😻

I would suggest getting her declawed while she's small. I got my male cat neutered because he basically wouldn't shut up because one night he got some cat tail and he would yowl all night while he was in the house. Declawing her now means she wouldn't tear anything in the future and when they are small the healing time is reduced.

They'll give her a cone to keep her from taking out the stitches. Don't take it off no matter how much she hates it, but that's pretty obvious lol I wish I had more insight, but I don't really remember when my cat got spayed. But when my dog got fixed, it wasn't too bad but I had to keep an eye on him because he would take off the cone. Anyways, good luck eve❤️

Good luck Eve!

It's totally normal to feel like that but don't worry, she'll be totally fine. I'm sure you know getting spayed is a completely standard procedure and if he has 20 years of experience that's super cool! Still, I'm sending you good vibes. As for tips, every cat is different but my mom's cat was super tired after so don't be alarmed if she's a bit loopy or lethargic for a while, that'll go away and she'll be back to normal in no time. Good luck! Moony and I love you guys. :)
