3 Ways to Paint Realistic Transparent Fabric

Surprise, surprise! A new tutorial has arrived!

I mentioned my technique on painting transparencies once, but we were lacking a proper tutorial to show it step by step.

And since this month I've had to paint a few transparent materials for some pieces, I thought it would be a great time to share my technique in more detail.

Hope it makes sense! I've explained my favorite methods, but honestly, I rarely stick to one of them for the whole process 😂 It's more fun to pick the best part of each one and just flow with the drawing.

I'm also preparing a real-time process video of the rendering of that Goth Rina drawing. So you'll be able to watch every step I took at a much more relaxed speed to really absorb all the knowledge. Stay tuned! I'm aiming to finish it and post it tomorrow!
